Story
Meet Speckles — Your New Best Friend  If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly companion to share your adventures, look no further than Speckles! This handsome retriever/collie mix (approximately 1.5–2 years old) is ready to find the family he's been waiting for. Speckles is the whole package — he walks beautifully on leash, knows how to "sit pretty," and won't drive your neighbors crazy with barking. He's a true people-lover who lights up around humans and gets along great with other dogs, making him a wonderful fit for multi-pet households. When it comes to fun, this boy means business. Toss him a ball or a Kong and watch his eyes light up — then take him for a walk and you'll have a happy, tired pup by evening. Speckles thrives with activity and would absolutely flourish in a home with a yard where he can stretch his legs and explore. Speckles is clearly a smart cookie who is eager to please — with a little consistent training on basic commands, he's going to be an absolute star. If you're an active family or individual ready to invest a little time and a lot of love, Speckles will pay you back tenfold. Apply to adopt this  handsome  guy at EAPL.com— we have a feeling it'll be love at first sight.    Put in an application at eapl.com. His adoption fee is $375 March 2, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
Bruce is a 10-month-old puppy who’s funny, silly, and full of energy. He’s a little wild in a puppy way and absolutely loves being outside—running, exploring, and burning off energy. He would do best with someone who has a backyard and enjoys an active, outdoor lifestyle like hiking or long walks. This isn’t a rushed rehoming. I care deeply about Bruce and am looking for the right fit, not just any home. He deserves someone who can give him space, time, and a lot of love.

Odin was adopted from Humane Colorado and is a high-energy, 5-year-old dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is very sweet, fully house-trained, and can be quite talkative at times, which only adds to his charm. Odin would thrive as the only dog in the home and is looking for an active person or family who can provide consistent daily walks and would enjoy taking him on hikes and adventures. Odin is a loyal and loving companion who is in search of a family who can match his needs.

Story
I got my baby boy from a breeder near Colorado Springs. He is now 8 years and 7 months. He needs to be re-homed because he is not adjusting well to our now one year old. He never bit her. But he was showing teeth and getting more aggravated. It was clear that our baby was at risk of getting harmed and also since the baby my dog just hasn’t been happy. He’s stressed out and depressed (only when at my house). He deserves a child free and dog free home where he can thrive and love life again. And you have to have a backyard. He’s still high energy. Obi has a zest for life. When he’s outside he is full of so much joy it lights anyone up. He loves to play fetch and keep away. He LOVES people. He warms up fast and loves hanging out with visitors. He’s smart. He’s playful. He’s loving. He’s just the best dog anyone could ask for. Obi will fill your home with energy, excitement, snuggles, and love. I want the rest of his life to be a happy one. He deserves it! And his new owner too.

Story
Meet Jolene 💛 Jolene is an almost 3-year-old purebred Australian Shepherd who is incredibly sweet with people and loves children. She is fully house-trained, affectionate, loyal, and a true joy to be around. Rehoming her is heartbreaking, but we are choosing safety and love for everyone involved. Jolene has developed territorial behaviors with other dogs in her space. This began in our backyard after exposure to aggressive neighbor dogs and has increased over time due to major life changes in our home. She does great with other dogs in neutral spaces like walks, parks, and dog parks — the issue is only in spaces she considers hers. She has never shown aggression toward humans. With young children and another large dog in our home, we are concerned about stress and safety. Jolene would truly thrive in a single-dog home where she can feel secure and be the center of attention. She is not a problem dog — just a wonderful dog who needs the right environment to thrive. 💛
