Sparky is really cute and is the perfect size…. not too big and not too small. He knows some basic commands, including sit and stay. Sparky is sweet, but a little shy. He arrived at the shelter on 6/19/26 and would love to leave the noisy shelter with a forever family so he can continue to learn new skills in a safe loving environment. Sparky is 2 years old and weighs 33 pounds. He is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heart worms. He is neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption. Please stop by to meet this delightful little fellow in run 314 His ID # 20126. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.

free dog sitting for him*We rescued him from the shelter from the kill list, to only foster him to see if we wanted to adopt him but I didn’t have the heart to take him back to the shelter. We have had him for over a year now but unfortunately I have lupus and my husband works 60 hours every week- and he needs so much stimulation. We play laser with him every night, it’s not enough and I don’t have the energy to give him what he needs. He needs a yard to run and mental stimulation and it’s just too much for me with my illness. I love him so much he is an goofball and a character. I am willing to take him while you go on vacation. He has a large crate and some toys I can give you as well.
