Story
I rescued Luna 4 years ago. She was 2 years old at the time and I was told she had an abusive past. She has a scar on her back which looks like a burn. It’s unknown how it happened but it doesn’t bother her. When she was 3, she was violently attacked by a pitbull. It snapped her front right arm. Luckily, they were able to save her arm by placing a plate and screws. Luna has been through a lot of pain in the life. It’s with a heavy heart they we rehome her and we will wait to find a good home. She is such a sweet dog and if you show her love and affection, she will return it tenfold. Luna is obsessed with playing soccer or chasing any larger ball. I’m sure that’s the natural hoarding instinct in her. Despite her being attacked by a dog, she is pretty good around other dogs but she does get nervous if they approach her quickly. She’s great with cats and sometimes we think she thinks that she’s a big cat. She is very sweet with kids as long as they are kind to her.

Story
Shaq is a very sweet and loveable soul. We took him in because he would have ended up without a family otherwise. We were able to potty train him and have began leash training. He’s extremely playful and gentle. My boyfriend and I are both military and we are unable to keep him as he is getting deployed unexpectedly and I am relocating. Unfortunately, I will not be able to bring Shaq with me. We have reached out to family and friends and they either have enough pets already or would prefer not to take on this responsibility at this time. We would love for Shaq to be put into a new loving home because he deserves that and so much more.

Story
Morgan is a 1 year old, 30 lb mixed breed cutie. She came to us from animal control on the day she was supposed to be euthanized. She is a shy girl but oh so sweet. Morgan is very food motivated and follows her foster mom around the house. Food has really helped her bond and trust. She does well with both cats and dogs, and she really looks to other dogs for guidance. She has been with dogs, small to large and does well with all of them. She also loves to play with other dogs. She is truly a great sized, sweet girl. Due to Morgan's past, the trainer we worked with believes she would do best in a quiet home with a few other dogs and no children. She does best in a structured environment because it makes her feel most secure. To adopt this sweet girl, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $150, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, and heartworm testing.
