Story
Meet Mr. Crane! He will certainly be happy to meet you. This dog does happy like no dog I've ever seen. He literally jumps for joy! When I come home, He goes sailing past my head. Crane is very playful. He especially likes those rope toys, which he will play with on his own or he'll play tug of war until your arm falls off. But if you sit still for long enough, he will curl up with you. That is his favorite place to be, in contact with his people. It gives him a sense of security. Crane did not have a good start in life. He was seconds away from being euthanizedHe is one year old and has lived in at least four places during the first 10 months. So in his little world, everyone you love goes away. That makes him crave reassurance. If he can just settle some place and learn that no one is leaving, I think that he should develop a little more independence. Won't you give Mr. Crane a chance? He's a beautiful, sweet-tempered boy who will be overjoyed for a chance to be your best friend.

Story
Boss man has been with me since birth. He was the alpha pup of my parents' family pet, Diamond. Unfortunately, I'm at a point in my life where i need to relocate, but i just am not able to accommodate him on this transition. I've gone back and forth with myself about this decision for about 5 years. i honestly don't want to give him up for adoption but my current situation has forced me to decide. I have run out of time and options. So hopefully. Someone. With the time and the space. We'll be willing to take him in as he is a very seasoned house house dog.

Story
Miss P is a beautiful Border Collie/ Lab mix. She is a middle aged girl, and is ready for her forever family! She is very dog friendly, and has a rough and tumble play style. She has never met a dog that she doesn&#39t like! Miss P is very food motivated and takes treats gently. She&#39s crate trained, house trained, and knows her basic commands. Miss P enjoys hunting for critters in the yard and chewing on her Nyla bones! Miss P would love a forever home with another dog and a fenced yard where she can spend time outside. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this sweet girl, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.February 23, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
QUICHE Border Collie  Puppy Meet our Border Collie puppy: Quiche. At 8 weeks old, he is equal parts brains, zoomies, and heart. Always curious and already way too smart for his own good, this little herder loves learning new tricks, chasing anything that moves, and stealing socks. Big personality, bigger energy, and endless cuddles included. Quiche, is intelligent, alert, and full of promise. He is already showing a love for learning and a strong bond with his people. With the right guidance, he will grow into a devoted, energetic, and highly capable companion. You must be aware when adopting a Border Collie that they are working dogs! Since not many of us have sheep to herd, you will have to take him on long walks daily. Also play fetch with him in the yard, maybe teach him how to catch a frisbee! There are local places that teach dogs agility skills, Borders love that skill. In short, please be prepared for an active lifestyle if you want to adopt a Border Collie. We can point you towards some of these trainers if you like.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          February 12, 2026, 6:33 am

Story
Hi, I`m Baxter. Life didn’t start out easy for me. I came from a pretty unsanitary situation before Atlanta Humane rescued me and showed me what kindness feels like. I’m still learning how to fully trust and navigate the world, but I have made such amazing progress and am really starting to enjoy life as a “normal” dog. Underneath my cautious beginnings is a heart that’s so ready to love. Once I feel safe, you’ll see just how incredibly sweet and affectionate I can be!I love playing outside and soaking up fresh air. I’m a gentle, playful guy who likes to have fun with the people I trust most. Watching me open up and gain confidence has been so special — and my future family will get to see that beautiful journey continue. I’d do best with a patient family who understands that I just need a little time to settle in. In return, I promise to give you all the love I’ve been saving up. I can’t wait to run, play, and enjoy being a happy dog by your side!P.S. I qualify for Welcome Trial, which means you can take me home for up to 14 days to see if we`re the perfect match before making things official. With love,Baxter

Story
Meet Odie! Odie is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out Odie is about a year and a half old and not even 35 lbs - what a great age and size! It's hard to know for sure what breed he is given that he was a stray but those tell tale spots could mean there is some heeler or maybe even bird dog in there. We prefer to think of him as 100% purebred Rescue Mutt - the best kid of dog there is! Odie is great with other dogs and has learned to really love his crate as well. He's a super social guy who was a big hit at one of our adoption events recently - stopping to greet all of the new people he came upon. This well rounded lovebug will make an amazing addition to one lucky family! Interested in adopting? Story
WHERE ARE OUR BASKETBALL FANS?! Here at RMG we are HUGE fans of the Atlanta Hawks and are already gearing up for pre-season to get underway in about 6 weeks! One of our recent additions is especially excited! Asa, named after Asa Newell UGA alumni and current Hawks rookie and first round draft pick, is a gorgeous Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard dog mix who is about a year old. Like his namesake, Asa is young, energetic, and LOVES playing ball! Although our Asa does prefer tennis balls to basketballs. Aside from being fun and incredibly handsome, Asa is also super loving and crate trained! He would truly make an amazing running or hiking partner and will thrive in an active family! So can we find Asa his person in time to be able to catch the season opener in his very own Forever Home? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org ##2502899##
