Charlie was a birthday present for my son but we have hit some really hard times and having to downgrade our whole life including rehoming Charlie so I can get a second job. Charlie is home in our apartment all day. He is very mild mannered and is a great chill buddy but will be more than happy to go on a walk with you. I believe he is allergic to something in my neighborhood which is causing him to bite his tail or maybe it’s boredom from being stuck in the apartment. Before moving into the city he never had any medical issues. Hopefully a yard or regular walks will keep him from this behavior.

I have had Crane for about a month. At 11 months, he is on the edge between puppy and adult.But one of my dogs has taken a dislike to him and keeps attacking him. For his safety, he needs to be adopted soon. Crane is a lovely boy. He adores people and begs everyone for pets. He also gets along with cats. The only thing he wants out of life is to be with his people, especially in physical contact. I've been taking him to work with me, and the whole way there and back, he curls up in my lap. If I sit on the couch, he wants to sit with me, touching me. He's a Border Collie mix, but I'm not quite sure what the mix is. He does have separation anxiety, but look at it from his point of view. In his first 10 months of life, he has lived in at least 4 different places. In his little world, everyone he loves always leaves. He would do best as an only dog, and I long for him to find a place where the people he loves do not leave.

Meet Odie! Odie is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out Odie is about a year and a half old and not even 35 lbs - what a great age and size! It's hard to know for sure what breed he is given that he was a stray but those tell tale spots could mean there is some heeler or maybe even bird dog in there. We prefer to think of him as 100% purebred Rescue Mutt - the best kid of dog there is! Odie is great with other dogs and has learned to really love his crate as well. He's a super social guy who was a big hit at one of our adoption events recently - stopping to greet all of the new people he came upon. WHERE ARE OUR BASKETBALL FANS?! Here at RMG we are HUGE fans of the Atlanta Hawks and are already gearing up for pre-season to get underway in about 6 weeks! One of our recent additions is especially excited! Asa, named after Asa Newell UGA alumni and current Hawks rookie and first round draft pick, is a gorgeous Australian Shepherd/Catahoula Leopard dog mix who is about a year old. Like his namesake, Asa is young, energetic, and LOVES playing ball! Although our Asa does prefer tennis balls to basketballs. Aside from being fun and incredibly handsome, Asa is also super loving and crate trained! He would truly make an amazing running or hiking partner and will thrive in an active family!
