AN ACTIVE & FRIENDLY PUPPY:  Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 31 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Muppet! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me – they are so much fun to hang out with! I've been selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience off-site and am learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them.  I do need a proper introduction with dogs or I can be barky – no worries, we’ll show you how to do that.  So, if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over with my puppy enthusiasm. Also, kids should not walk me as I may pull away to chase something.   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a happy, friendly, fun-loving boy with a playful personality and an adorable face that’s sure to make you smile! I’m sweet, outgoing, and love being around people. I can be a little jumpy when I get excited, and I’m also quite talkative at the shelter, so I’d do best in a home rather than an apartment or condo where I can happily express myself. If you’re looking for a cheerful companion who will keep you smiling, I just might be your guy! / Energy level:  6-8.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I don’t love spending too much time in my crate, so I hope for a home where I won’t have to. / I’ve had several accidents on the shelter schedule, though not a lot for a puppy, so I’ll be working on finishing up my potty training in the off-site training program.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love being petted, spending time with the nice volunteers, and staying active with my people. Whether we're playing, exploring, or just having fun together, I'm happiest when I'm included in the action. I can be interested in chasing cars, so I'll need a family that's committed to keeping me safely leashed. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on my immunization, micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.    July 1, 2026, 8:45 am

HANDSOME & FUN:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 39 lbs. Hi, I’m Jonah! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control - I’m still not quite sure how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be with Mostly Mutts now. I hear that I’m ready to find a family of my very own and I think that is the best news ever!  Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a handsome boy with a sweet personality! I’m very active, playful, and always ready for some fun. I arrived a little anxious, but I was still friendly and eager to make new friends. During my bath, I had lots of nervous energy at first, but once the water was running, I settled down and did a great job. As soon as the water was turned off, though, I was ready to hop right out of the tub - lol! Beneath all my energy is a very sweet heart, and I’m looking forward to sharing my playful, loving personality with my new family. / Energy level: 5-7.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, and ‘place’ commands. I’m working on my leash manners now with the volunteers as I do pull some and I’m strong. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue training together. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.     • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being petted and spending time with the nice volunteers who give me attention and affection. Being around people is one of my favorite things, and I’m sure that as I settle into my new home, we’ll discover many more activities that we enjoy doing together! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again - and not the talking-back kind of fresh! If you’re looking for a sweet dog that enjoys being active with their family, I could be the one! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 1, 2026, 8:45 am

SWEET, FUN & ADORABLE:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 35 lbs. Hi, my name is Duchess!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I have been spending time in a great foster home!  I am enjoying my time here, and they love me, so that sounds like a good preview of the great home that awaits me!  My future family and I – making each other happy!  I’m now available for adoption, so plan to meet me soon!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the other dog in my foster home, and we play and sleep together – so cute.  I also met dogs at Mostly Mutts before going to my foster home and did alright with them, too - I was interested though not quite ready to play at that time.  So, if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / I met the kitty in my foster home and ran after him, so we haven’t met again.  I’m likely best not cats. / I really enjoy the 6-, 8- and 15-year-old kids in my foster home!  I am a bit playfully mouthy sometimes, so best no toddlers that I may be too much for.  Giving me a toy helps with my playful mouthiness. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet girl who loves being around my people and being part of the family.  I’m calm and easygoing for the most part, but I do have a playful, energetic side that comes out when I’m ready for some fun. My foster says I’m just an all-around sweet girl who would make a wonderful family companion. / Energy level: 4-6.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  While I was at the MM shelter, I showed that I knew the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, and ‘leave it’ commands.  Let’s continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I don’t like spending much time in a crate, so I’ll cry a little when I’m in it, though I do settle.  At nighttime, I sleep on a dog bed in my fosters’ room or in bed with them. / I’m having some accidents in my foster home, so they are working with me on this now.  Hopefully there will be good improvements, just ask how it’s coming along.  They do crate me when they need to leave the home to help with this as well.      • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy car rides and am happy to join my family on adventures!  Playing with the other dog and kids in my foster home is fun as well as chasing toys and balls, going for walks, and staying active with my people. I’m also a big fan of being petted, cuddling and soaking up attention.  After my spa bath time, I had a blast rolling around on my towel and bed. / I’m not a big fan of the crate, and if you leave a room and close the door behind you, I may whimper a little because I enjoy being near my people.  And like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a wonderful young dog looking for a wonderful family to have fun with and be loved furever!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 1, 2026, 8:45 am

Story
AN ACTIVE & FUN FELLOW:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 33 lbs. Hello – I’m Cody!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I’ve been soaking up the love ever since!  As much as I love the great volunteers, I am ready to meet my new family and start my ‘happily ever after’ with them!  I was adopted for 2 months, and though my family loved me a lot, I just needed more stimulation and exercise than they could provide, so I’m back with Mostly Mutts looking for the right fit.  I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some dogs at Mostly Mutts, and I was friendly with them.  I also played nicely with a 3-year-old larger dog in a temporary foster home, with just a few playfully mouthy moments (common for my breed mix).  I can also play alongside with a toy in my mouth, so if you have a nice doggie at home already who sounds like a match for my play style, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  In my temporary adoptive home, I got to go to doggie day care at times and enjoyed that! / Cats unknown. / I liked the kids I met with my temp. adoptive home, though I don’t recall their ages, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over, as I am pretty strong and active. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a busy guy with a friendly demeanor.  In fact, I’ve heard the volunteers describe me as ‘a strong and lovable guy with a sweet nature’.  I’ll either charm you with my handsome good looks or delight you with my contagious playfulness!  Though I’m quite energetic, I did calm down for my shelter bath and the great rubs and pets that came with that.  I have been a bit playfully mouthy and wiggly during leashing at the shelter and leave my kennel raring to go, so be ready for my enthusiasm, right out of the gate.  I’m just so happy to be out and about with the volunteers!  They say that I do the most adorable head tilts when I hear certain sounds, like whistling – so cute!  I was a good home office dog in a temp. foster home, relaxing in a dog bed while my person worked.  I did a little counter surfing, but this is trainable.  Affectionate and fun, I’m ready to bring lots of fun and adventure to my new home! / My energy level is 6-8 so I’ll want my family to be active with me! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I’ve mastered the ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘down’, and ‘drop it’ commands as well as how to utilize proper door etiquette.  Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, though I don’t want to spend a lot of time in my crate.  I didn’t want to be crated at night in my temp. foster, but maybe I won’t need a crate in my new home. / My former adoptive family reported that I did well with my potty manners while with them, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I LOVE being petted and will happily spend time hanging out with a volunteer on the front bench after my walks – collecting all the tummy scratches / rubs you wish to give!  I’m also quite treat motivated, so have those handy when you want my undivided attention.  I went on a sunset hike with a volunteer, enjoying the exercise and happily rewarding them with plenty of kisses along the way.  I enjoy a soft dog bed and relaxing on the couch with my people!  Toys get my attention as well, so let’s PLAY! / Other than not wanting to be in a crate too much, I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a wonderful home with a family that will be active and have fun with me!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 1, 2026, 8:45 am

A FUN & HANDSOME BOY:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 16 lbs. Hi, my name is Rick! I came to Mostly Mutts when my family’s circumstances changed, and they could no longer keep me. I arrived with another dog friend who has already found a wonderful home, and I’m hoping my turn comes very soon! In the meantime, I’m enjoying life in a fantastic foster home where I’m getting lots of love, activity and care. If my foster family is any indication, I think there’s a pretty amazing forever home waiting just for me!  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I got along great with the dog I came in with, and my former family reported that I did well with the dogs I met while I was with them.  I really think I’d like a dog friend in my new home to play and pal around with, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet while with Mostly Mutts, but my former owner reported that I did well with the kids I met while I was with them, though I don’t recall their ages, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a friendly, active guy with a fun, lively personality! Shelter life was stressful for me, so I was pretty barky there, but once I settled into my foster home, I showed everyone what a well-mannered boy I really am. I’m doing great in a home environment and enjoying all the attention and routine. I also did very well for my bath and brushing, showing that I’m happy to cooperate. I’m a fun-loving companion who’s ready to bring lots of joy and energy to my forever family. / Energy level:  6-8, typical of my breed, so I’d like a family that will be active with me.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, and ‘leave it’ commands so far. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue my training together. / I sleep well in my crate at night and like going in and out of it some during the day – it’s my comfy place and I’d like one in my new home. / I had accidents when I was at the shelter but am doing well in my foster home after some initial marking and a couple of accidents early on.  They keep me on a good potty schedule and I also learned to use the doggie door there in 1 day.  My former family reported that I was potty trained with them.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing, being active, and spending time with my people. I’m an affectionate guy who enjoys attention and will happily stop for a short cuddle session before I’m ready for my next adventure. I also love my food - so much so that I tend to eat a little too fast! I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful furever home with a family that will be active and have fun with me. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 1, 2026, 8:45 am
