Sophie is a resilient, affectionate 2-year-old with a wonderful balance of playful energy and laid-back charm. At around 60 pounds, she’s a solid, lovable girl who enjoys making the most of every day. In her foster home, Sophie loves to play—especially when it comes to a game of fetch—and she’s fantastic with other dogs. When playtime winds down, Sophie is just as content to relax, showing off her softer side by curling up for long cuddle sessions and quiet companionship. Sophie is very people-oriented and forms strong bonds with those around her. She thrives on connection and enjoys being part of daily life, whether that means joining in on activities or lounging nearby. Her foster notes that she has a pleasantly “lazy” side and is happiest when she can alternate between play and snuggling on the couch. Earlier in her life, Sophie faced some significant challenges, including serious injuries to her back legs and a heartworm diagnosis. Thanks to dedicated medical care and ongoing support, she has made incredible progress and continues to gain strength each day. She doesn't require any further medical care. Sophie is looking for a home filled with compassion and care. What she gives back is immeasurable: deep loyalty, heartfelt affection, and a quiet resilience that shines through in everything she does.

Meet Ace! This handsome boy is looking for a fitting forever home to match his energetic, enthusiastic, and boisterous personality. Ace is originally from a family farm in South Jersey, born in May 2024 of a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mother and Border Collie father. As the family on the farm was not able to take on any more animals at the time of his puppyhood, he found his way to our current residence in NJ. Ace has some special medical notes- he has a bald spot on his back from running under an electric fence as a puppy, and has experienced 2 partial seizure-like episodes in the past. Because of this Ace needs a confident, loving, and experienced handler that uses positive reinforcement! He would be best being pampered as an only child, as he has a tough time getting along with other dogs or cats. Although he can be slow to warm to unfamiliar people at times, he is truly a sweet and fun spirited boy who would love nothing more than to be your best friend with time and patience 🐾
