My name is Moonpie! I am a gorgeous 1 year old boy and a Border Collie/Lab Mix. I am around 35 lbs and I don't seem to be getting much bigger. Unfortunately, even being as young as I am, I spent about 3 months in a shelter. I didn't let it get me down and I didn't let it scare me. I knew someone would break me out. And, they did! Now I am sitting pretty in a really great foster home. My foster brother is Snoopy. (He is a available too and we actually make a great pair... wink wink.) I didn't miss a beat when I started settling into probably my first good home ever. I have learned a routine. I have learned that the crate is not a bad thing and to go outside to go to the bathroom. I really love playing with Snoopy and romping in the backyard. I am food motivated and truly want to please my people. I love the great outdoors and if you are a nature buff, I am happy to be your side nature buff. I am still very much a puppy in some ways so some diligence up front will really pay off. He is champagne colored with white spots on one of his ears, on his forehead, and on his back. He so handsome with his sweet, dark eyes. Wizard is quite a character. He loves children and tries to follow them up the slide to slide down with them. He’s great with other dogs, and plays gently with the cats in his foster home. House trained, leash trained, and crate trained, this is a great dog and most of the hard work is done. You can teach him the fun stuff to amaze your friends and family, which he will learn very quickly because he’s very smart and curious. Adoption fee $50 This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. FOREVER HOME NEEDED!!  Kubo came to us in 2020, and was adopted relatively quickly! Unfortunately, his owners could not handle Kubo and it led to them needing to return him. He was terrified upon being back at the kennel, a completely different dog than what had came to us originally. We found Kubo a wonderful foster home where he has been for 2 years! He never receives ANY interest . We are now desperate. Kubo's foster is returning to work and will not have enough time to care for him. This poor boy needs his FOREVER home ASAP!!! Kubo is a very smart 5 year old cuddle bug. He LOVES to cuddle on his person and be around them. He has been undergoing training and has come such a long way. Kubo is good with other dogs but can be very vocal when seeing them outside which is part of what his training has consisted of. He would do amazing in a lower traffic home with adults/older teens. My name is Sparkle. It's a suitable name for me! I am about 12 months old and 40ish lbs. I am a Cattle Dog Mix. I could have a little Shepherd down the line or Husky (no l am not a singer!). I am a well-rounded, active and incredibly affectionate girl. My favorite place is close to my humans so in that regard, I am a little bit of a velcro dog. I am great with other dogs and enjoy their company. I am respectful of the older dog and playful with the younger dog. I could play for long time if the other dog is up for it. I am a master of the dog park and haven't met a dog I didn't like. I have been around kids of all ages, even those young ones and I feel comfortable around all of them. I enjoy going on walks and always ready to join my humans for a ride in the car. I am able to play independently too when needed. I am still young so some basic rules need to be instilled when I get to my new home. I need a little leash work but my response to correction is really pretty good! I would love an active family to take me to fun places where I can share my amazing qualities with many friends. A spot on the couch is a requirement too! I am located in NJ.
