The scared little girl who once kept her distance now happily seeks out affection, wags her tail when you approach, and will gladly curl up in your lap for cuddles. She absolutely ADORES snuggles, pets, and treats—especially the cheesy and meaty kind! 🧀🥩💕 Staff have consistently shared how much she's blossomed during her time with us.Imogen is a mixed breed dog of many types of breeds, we imagine, we have her listed as possibly having border collie and austrailian shepherd as part of those breeds, but we really don't know. Imogen will need a patient family that understands she's still building confidence. She's learning that walks can be fun (her leash skills are improving every day! 🦮), new experiences aren't so scary, and people can be trusted. Watching her come out of her shell has been one of the most rewarding transformations we've seen. 🌼She has tested well with other dogs and is used to living with canine companions. Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you. So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Chip weighs about 60 pounds and is very physically strong. Because we don't know his history, Chip's new home should be child-free. Chip has tested negative for heartworm, has been neutered, and is current on vaccinations/flea/heartworm preventative. You will receive health records and a bag of Hill's Science Diet food upon adoption. Adoption fee $280.
