Story
I’m a sweet and curious pup who’s always ready to explore the world by your side. I love meeting new people, sniffing out new adventures, and learning what makes you smile. If you talk to me, don’t be surprised if I give you my signature cute little head tilt while I listen closely, it’s kind of my specialty. I’m looking for a family to love, cuddle with, and share lots of happy moments together. Could I be your new best friend?

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Mac is a 9-year-old border collie mix, which means he is mature, refined, and fully past the age of nonsense. He is not here for chaos. He is here for a comfortable place to nap, a respectable toy collection, and the admiration he deserves for being such a distinguished little gentleman. This handsome older boy is potty trained, crate trained, and wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. Truly, Mac is the kind of guy who knows how to carry himself. Polite. Charming. Housebroken. Civilized. The full package. Now, while he may be a gentleman, he does have one very serious passion in life: toys. Mac is an absolute toy fanatic. Not in a messy, immature way. In a curated-collection, deeply-committed, this-is-my-finest-work kind of way. Give this man a toy basket and he will consider his life complete. And then, of course, we must discuss the tippy tappy speckled feeties. Because they are spectacular. Tiny spotted works of art. Little fancy foot accessories that he wears everywhere with zero humility. Honestly, they should have their own fan club. Mac is sweet, easygoing, funny, and very deserving of a home that sees just how special he is. Older dogs like Mac somehow always get overlooked, which is rude, frankly, because he is out here being adorable, well-mannered, and iconic. So let’s get this distinguished gentleman adopted. Mac is ready to bring his charm, his toys, and his incredible speckled feeties to a forever home.

Story
Space is a 9 month old medium size dog. She loves other dogs and has done well with cats. Space needs a special adopter that will give her time to realize people aren’t so scary. She has made a TON of progress at her foster home but is still very timid at times. She gets SO excited to see you after work but still only wants to be pet on her own terms. She will do best in a home with no children, another dog to help build her confidence, and her own yard, as she is not leash trained. She is very fearful of the leash, leading us to believe she may have had a traumatic experience involving a leash before coming to HART. This dog absolutely loves to be comfy. All she wants is a comfortable bed or to curl up by your feet on the couch. If you’re looking for a playmate for your dog that does not beg for constant attention or a friend to keep your dog busy while you’re at work, Space could be a great choice for you. If interested in meeting Space please fill out an application at www.rescueahart.org!
