This is Kesha, one of Orange County’s newest residents & Volunteers favorite! Kesha is approx 10-11 years old and just under 50lbs. She was rescued from the streets of Mexico and was living in deplorable conditions until our friends at Crossing Guardians took her in and nursed her back to health. Despite what she’s been through, Kesha is the sweetest girl ever. If you know the Boxer breed, they are affectionate dogs (just like Kesha) and although she may be older, she is so easy going and is ready to find her forever home. Foster mom recently did a dog intro with Roxie with some of her personal dog who is also a boxer did excellent with her personal dog so we do know she is dog friendly 100 percent. She in progress getting spay in month of Aug so she will be ready to go to her forever home. Roxie is not left alone here at my house, someone is always home. Home owners gave 30 days notice for renter to move due to they were going to put the house up for sale. Previous owner told me, he was moving his family back to his home country in Armenia.

Meet Randy! Randy is about 10 months old now, we originally rescued him in April 2026. We rescued him from another partner rescue in El Centro, California and he apparently was either found as a stray in Mexicali or born in the shelter with siblings. We don’t know much about his past, but he is a sweet puppy. We were told he was a beagle-basset hound mix, though we recently DNA tested him (see below). Regardless, he is a sweet boy who is looking for a foster home or foster-to-adopt home we are trying very hard to help him find one ASAP! So far in his foster home, we’ve learned that Randy is a very sweet boy, loves attention, playing with the other dogs in the house, likes to sunbathe, and sleeps well in his crate overnight, though he’d love to sleep in bed if he had the chance. He loves to be near people, snuggles, rides well in the car, responds well to his foster, and enjoys going on walks through the neighborhood. Guess what? He hasn’t had one accident in his foster home so far! That’s awesome for such a young puppy just learning the ropes. He is walking well on the leash, but has shown some slight fears in new places or to new people, but over time and exposure/socialization he does well. Can you blame him? He is still a puppy and has been through so much already, everything is new to him. Once he has consistency in his home situation and trust of an owner, we’re sure he’ll settle in even more. Let’s not let Randy wait long to find his forever home, he is such a sweet puppy and he deserves the best! Even if he is not a beagle, he’s a very good dog, has a lot of potential to live with other dogs or on his own, but is looking for a calm environment where he can learn, grow, and find his people. Contact us if you have questions or apply here on our website to adopt Randy! *Note: as of 10/7/26 we have Randy's DNA and he is 22% American Pit Bull Terrier, 21% American Staffordshire Terrier, 6% Boxer, 2% Neapolitan Mastiff, 26% American Cocker Spaniel, 9% Labrador Retriever, 4% German Shepherd, 3% Australian Cattle Dog, 3% Chihuahua, 2% Chow Chow, 1% Chinese Shar-Pei, and 1% Polynesian Street Dog estimated by EmbarkDNA. So, he is not a beagle or hound mix as we were originally told, but he will be a "beagle in spirit". Regardless, he's a purebred good boy needing a foster or forever home!
