I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog Adoption:12Molly is a sweet, silver-muzzled lady with a gentle soul and a playful spark. She’s 9 years young and 63 pounds, a boxer/pittie mix who’s calm and thoughtful. She can be cautious at first, but once she warms up, she shines. Volunteers note she enjoys doing her own thing, trots nicely on leash, and takes treats very politely. She already knows sit and paw, and loves squeaky toys. She’ll even play a mellow game of fetch with an impressive catch-and-drop. On a recent field trip to Jack London Square, Molly showed just how easygoing she can be, walking very nicely at a relaxed pace. She had no reaction to passing people, dogs, or small animals, and took everything in stride. She was a bit restless in the car, but settled in and slept on the ride back. Around other dogs, Molly stays relaxed and prefers polite, low-key interactions. She’d do great as a solo dog or with a well-matched canine friend who respects her space. Fum aka Harley, is a playful and affectionate puppy that is looking for his forever home. He loves exploring and sniffing when out on his walks. He does well on the leash and will occasionally pull for a good sniff but quickly adjust with a little correction. He loves his toys but tends to tear up stuffies, he does best with heavy duty chews and tug toys. Fum is a smart boy already knowing commands like down and sit and is working on more. He is highly treat motivated and cataches on quickly, plus he is crate and potty trained like a champ. Fum is still very much a puppy and working out his puppy energy and needs training and exercise. Fum does well with other dogs, cats, and children, just exercise caution around young ones since he gets the zoomies. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and chipped. Hi this is Nova. She is currently 10 months old and turns 1 on March 13th. The living community I am in does not allow pitbulls and has given me a notice to remove her form the home. She loves walks, playing tug of war and catch. She is very food motivated and knows some commands like sit, wait, stay, jump, pull, and eat. I just care that she goes to a loving home where she can run around and play and receive the attention she needs. She does hate showers but loves being scratched and having her fur brushed out. Nova can be a very cautious dogs but is also protective.
