Story
Hello everyone, I rescued Bacon from a high-kill shelter in LA where he was on the euthanasia list. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of getting him, I discovered I’m severely allergic to him and would like to find him a new, loving forever home. Bacon is an incredibly loyal, gentle, loving soul ever. He is super friendly and loves cuddles. He would be a little bit shy at strangers first but warm up quickly. He enjoys belly rubs and going for walks but he’s also happy to snuggle on the couch. He’s always by your side and will be your shadow. You will never feel alone because he’ll stick to you like glue and always wants to be touching you in some small way at least. He knows basic commands such as Sit, Leave in, his name, Stay, break,... He’s also calm and not leash-reactive, but still needs more structure since he gets distracted easily. We’re working on his separation anxiety and he should be crate-trained until becoming familiar with the new house. He still needs to be potty trained.

Story
Gabby is a pretty brindled lady brand new to FAAS. She`s calm, friendly and easy to walk and interact with, all hallmarks of a great addition to your family.&#10&#10* 8 years old&#10* 61 lbs&#10* Ignores and possibly likes other dogs&#10* Sweet, friendly and calm &#10* Easy to handle and harness&#10* Playful&#10* No-drama pup&#10&#10A well-adjusted senior, Gabby seems more interested in taking in the sights and sniffing the breeze than frantically checking pee-mail or getting into shouting matches with other dogs. We can easily imagine her snoozing on our couch, sitting at our feet while we work, or helping us run errands in dog-friendly stores.&#10Come meet her any afternoon but Mondays at Friends of the Alameda Animal Shelter in Alameda, California!

Story
Lil was a shelter pet I adopted when she was less than 1 year old. Nothing is known of her history before that time. She had been with me in a studio apartment for about 5 years. I was working and she spent her time in doggie day care while I worked. Otherwise, she kept well at home if I needed to be out, which was seldom. I became ill and could not work a approximately 2 years ago but was able to send Lil to daycare a couple of times a week and walk her daily. I am now not able to walk her and using a dog walker is very expensive. I also am not driving and unable to get her to her daycare kennel. Living on social security and a very small retirement. I have always had dogs - from childhood and throughout adult hood. I have always had a strong and comfortable bond with my dog companions. (my children accused me of liking them better than them!). I do not want to let her go. She is not getting out as much as she should, I am not able to play with her as freely with her.
