Story
Why hello there, my name is Larry. It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm a 8 year old, neutered male, Boxer and I weigh around 53 pounds. I'm a friendly but gentle fellow. I would love to meet someone who understands that stubborn old fellows like myself can be loving playful fur-ever friends. I might even get a bit rowdy once I'm super comfortable. I would love to meet everyone in the home, including resident dogs. I would also love to go to training classes with my new family. I can't wait to see you!  Larry ID# A940909 Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions:  11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week  Adoptions will be done on a first come, first served basis. Please note for walk-ins, if the animal you are interested in has other appointments, he/she may not be available for you to meet. Story
Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.
She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.
Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Ella is a great dog looking for a home where she is loved and cherished. Would you be the one for her?" Ella is now being fostered in Oakland, CA and her adoption fee is $275.00 Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Please contact us at dogzonerescue@yahoo.com for more information about this great gal or for an application to adopt.

Story
Introducing Lenny, THE wiggly wonder of the canine world! This Boxer boy is still in the early chapters of his puppyhood saga, likely clocking in under a year old. Picture a walking, bouncy ball of sunshine, with enough joy to light up a whole neighborhood. Lenny's got a heart of gold and a penchant for clowning around that could rival any circus act. But don't let his goofball persona fool you—underneath all that wiggly charm lies a smart and sensitive side. A firm "hey" or "no" is like hitting pause on his puppy antics, as he's quick to tune in and heed your guidance. Housebroken and crate trained like a seasoned pro, Lenny's already mastered the art of sitting, and he's eagerly working on expanding his repertoire with commands like down and paw. Plus, he's got that classic Boxer trait of getting along swimmingly with every living creature he meets. If you're ready to add some laughter, love, and a whole lot of wiggles to your life, hop on over to gobeyondrescue.org and fill out an application to make Lenny the newest star of your family's show!

King Boy is a loving 4 year old Dog. He’s very sensitive to your needs, he’s always willing to lay down near you for support . He loves the dog park but plays better with small dogs because he thinks he’s small too. We have to rehome him due to our granddaughter’s allergies. We want him to find a forever home where he can be his silly self.
