Story
Chico (aka Chi Chi) has a zest for life and is always ready to play! He's on the lookout for a forever home that can match his turbocharged vibes. Ideally, his new owner would be just as lively and ready for walks or fun park hangouts as he is. This clever pup is quick on the uptake, responding to his name and a whole bunch of cool commands like sit, lay down, come, and leave it. While he might start off a bit bashful, once he warms up, he's a social butterfly, eager to make friends and have a blast. And don't worry, even in his shy moments, Chico's all about love and play, no hint of aggression in sight! Age: 4 years Weight: 55 lbs Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines, HW negative. Temperament: Good with dogs and probably older sturdy kids because of his energy level. Training: House-trained and knows commands For questions about Chico, please email dtv.diyora@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.June 24, 2025, 2:34 pm

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Like most of us, Jackson is trying to navigate some crazy recent developments. This Heinz 57 mix spent seven great years with his pet parents before his world was turned upside down by a toddler (Relatable, right?). While he has struggled to adapt to the antics of an unpredictable little human, Jackson remains a sweet, well-behaved Good Dog. He loves his crate and follows numerous commands. And get this: He dislikes walks almost as much as you dread carrying poop bags. Score! Jackson’s go-to activities are lying next to you on the couch or zooming around the backyard before soaking up some rays with a pro-level nap. His ideal forever home would feature adults, teenagers and a fenced yard. Could he share this place with another dog or a cat? Sure, but let's talk about how to slowly introduce a new dog to your current pet family. Age: 8 years Weight: 50 labs Temperament: Gets along with adults/teens, other dogs with slow intro, and ok with dog-savvy cats (chases but not to harm them). Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, knows several commands and tricks Vetting: neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application ( www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption ) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. Story
Kiwi is a 7 year old, a petite boxer mix who weighs just 38 pounds — and truly, she’s as close to perfect as a dog can get. She’s incredibly smart, affectionate, and loves everyone she meets. She does the cutest zoomies in the yard, romps around with her toys, and then curls up for a cozy nap. Seriously, this girl is absolute perfection — and those ears deserve their own spotlight! October 26, 2025, 2:17 pm

Story
Hi&#44 Im Lola!

Im a sweet&#44 loving girl with a gentle soul and a heart full of affection. One of my very favorite things is being with people. I truly love human companionship and feel happiest right by your side. Whether were enjoying quiet time at home or heading out for an adventure&#44 Im always ready to share the moment with you.

I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy long&#44 relaxed strolls where I can take in all the sights and smells. Im very treat-motivated (snacks = instant best friends)&#44 which makes learning fun for me. I already know a few commands&#44 I aim to please&#44 and I love working with my people.

At home&#44 Im well-mannered and fully housebroken. Im affectionate without being overwhelming&#44 loving without being demanding&#44 and I have a way of making everyone I meet feel special. I adore cuddles&#44 belly rubs&#44 and cozy time with my humans. I dont bark at people or other dogs&#44 I dont beg for food&#44 and Im polite and gentle with everyone&#44 though I may be a little shy at first.

I can be playful when its time to have fun&#44 but I also calm down easily. I love being with my people&#44 yet Im trustworthy on my own and can handle some quiet time. I get excited about playing with other dogs and really enjoy long walks. (One little note: big rawhide bones dont agree with my tummy.) I would do best in a home without cats.

Im truly an amazing companion. If youre looking for a loyal&#44 loving girl who will walk proudly by your side&#44 curl up close when the day is done&#44 and fill your life with sweetness&#44 Id love to be your Lola. Someone out there is going to be very lucky to have me.

Story
Coco and her siblings were 8 weeks old when they became court cases with animal control charges of animal cruelty. They have been in foster for the past 22 months and were just released to be available for adoption. Coco's journey to find her forever home has been one of resilience and love. This beautiful girl had a tragic start, as she and her siblings became court cases with charges of severe abuse and neglect when they were just a few weeks old. In April 2023, Coco and two of her siblings came into a wonderful woman's care as foster babies. Since then, Coco has blossomed in a happy and safe environment, surrounded by her brother and sister. Coco has shown incredible strength and love despite her dicult beginnings. She deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive and bring joy to her new family. About Coco: - Coco is almost 2 years old, weighs approximately 66 pounds. She is spayed, up to date and has all her vaccination and is heartworm negative. - Crate Trained & Housebroken: No accidents - Obedient: Coco knows basic commands like sit, wait, treat, and get in, working on stay. - Great Sleeper: Coco sleeps 8 hours a night in her crate, giving you peace and quiet. - Friendly: Coco plays well with her siblings and my daughter's dogs. - Energy Levels: Coco has medium to high energy; she loves walks around the neighborhood. - Loving & Affectionate: Coco is a real Velcro buddy who loves to cuddle and be close to her humans. - Social: Coco loves people she knows but needs a few minutes to warm up to new people. - Food & Treat Motivated: Coco is easily motivated by food and treats. - Prey: Coco likes to chase squirrels, so a watchful eye is needed. - Not Tested with Cats: Coco hasn't been tested with cats yet. - Fenced Backyard Preferred: Coco would love a secure backyard to play in. - Solo or Pack: Coco may thrive as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion. For questions, please email . amy@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Story
Meet Mick! Mick (formerly McGee) was found as a stray in rural north Georgia and saved from euthanasia at the last moment thanks to dedicated volunteers. Now in a loving foster home with Doggie Harmony, Mick is thriving and showing just how sweet he truly is. Mick loves everyone he meets and has the gentlest, most affectionate personality. He enjoys playing with other dogs but is happiest staying close to his people — preferably within kissing distance! He is a velcro dog without separation anxiety and has shown no resource guarding with food, toys, or people. He is housebroken, crate trained, well-mannered when left alone, and eager to please. Mick is learning basic commands and has been respectful of the resident cat in his foster home. Mick has a few endearing quirks: he’s a little unsure about hardwood floors (walking backwards seems less scary - see video!) and leash walks. So he would do best in a home with a fenced yard while he continues building confidence. Mick is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and ready for his forever home. Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Adoptions within 2 hours of Atlanta Yuki was assessed by a certified dog trainer on 10/31/2025. Yuki is a happy, affectionate girl who exhibits no fear of humans she loves people. She walks up to strangers seeking a pet or treats. Because she is deaf, she can get spooked if someone comes up behinds her and touches her without making your presence known to her prior. Because of this, she needs a home with only older children (12+) who understand doggy manners and can be taught to respect to allow Yuki to come to them first and not spook her. She needs a home that understands boundaries and respect as well as to gracefully announce your presence to her instead of sneaking up on her which can be stressful for her. She would do best having a yard to get her zoomies and plays out. Probably no apartment or with immediate neighbors as Yuki can be very vocal, which she seems to have learned through experience that barking is the way to get attention but this is a behavior common to any dog that has been encouraged to use their bark to get attention, it is not specific to Yuki’s breed or deafness. A far as dogs, when Yuki was in the shelter she was assessed as dog friendly. She has been assessed walking through Petsmart with a trainer and she came very close to other dogs, every time she got super excited and although she barked, she had a waggy tail and body posture suggesting she was desperate to get their attention and play. However, she is probably best as only pet or only with a calm dog that won’t come up behind and spook her. If she has slow introductions she may do ok with another calm, gentle dog, and if with another dog, then a structured home. She would need to take time in the home to decompress and slowly introduced to them over a few weeks. Even behind baby gates at first and first getting used to scents of the other dog. Yuki is very trainable and very smart. She does use hand signals. Some hand signals she knows are “come”, “sit”, and “thumbs up” for good job. Too vocal for apartment living. Prefer a home. Video playing in the river: https://youtube.com/shorts/I1ee8F2qiDg&#226&#128&#139 Video playing with other dogs. https://youtube.com/shorts/ZSENZnir2T4 Age: 2 years 2 months Weight: 34 lbs Temperament: Gets along with older respectful kids Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, knows several hand signs Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions: http://kcchall238@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.
