Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Otis is a loving and playful dog whose mom has faded out of his life.  He was left with family but they are allergic to him so we just need to find a home where he can get the affection he craves and maybe a fenced yard that he can run zoomies in - or someone who will give him plenty of walks.  He appears to be a boxer mix.  He certainly has the warm and gentle disposition of one. He loves attention.  And though he needs some leash training, he would make an excellent walking or hiking partner. He's been around other dogs and seems to be fine with them.  He would probably be best with bigger, sturdy kids as he loves to play and could knock down toddlers. Age: 4 years Weight: 50lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, sturdy kids, all adults Training: House trained, crate trained Vetting: neuter is being scheduled, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative Email for questions:    clevelandmartiniv@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Story
Dexter is a sweet, goofy older boy who just wants someone to cuddle and play fetch with. He has been known to toss a ball or frisbee to himself in a pinch, but he definitely prefers a human companion for these sort of sporting activities! Dexter also loves walks and is very good on the leash, but he tends to tire out after a mile or two. He is house trained and crate trained, and while he has on occasion managed to Houdini his way out of his crate, he has never caused any actual damage to the crate nor gotten into any mischief after he freed himself. He does very well with other dogs, but would do just fine as an only dog as well - he definitely prefers the company of humans over canines! He is generally a very quiet, low-key dog. That said, we recommend he not be placed in a home with cats (he has not shown any prey-drive tendencies, but he is a little too interested in them for their comfort level). While he is a very gentle boy, he does sometimes get a little jumpy (especially when meeting new people) and can inadvertently head-butt with his big blocky head, so a home with older kids would be ideal. He is very smart and knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, crate) and LOVES treats! Dexter has not shown any resource-guarding tendencies regarding food, treats, or toys but he can be a vocal player with other dogs. Dexter would love a home with a nice fenced yard for playing fetch, where he gets lots of human attention and snuggles. And he's pretty well trained too, check him out here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/DTMYniyrDmJqV4BY/ Here's some videos of his dog interactions: https://youtube.com/shorts/s50zqB8XoTs https://youtube.com/shorts/OxRzjbUOVXw Playing in the yard: https://youtu.be/mqxHcfH5Ryc Elect Dexter https://youtube.com/shorts/yOA6KScobN0?feature=share   Dexter loves walks and exploring, loves his pool, so his trainer recommends he goes to an active home. He'd also do great with a veteran or senior who still has some pep in their step. When he's not out and about, Dexter enjoys snuggling up on the couch with his humans while watching Netflix. Age: 9 years  Weight: 55 lbs  Temperament: good with all adults, and enjoys other dogs, should be fine with older respectful kids Vetting: Neutered, up to date on vaccines,  heratworm  negative  Training: House trained, crate trained, knows sit, down, stay/wait, his name, follow, come, look, and touch.  For questions, please email. ali@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself .  March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Story
Bo is an energetic 4 year old Boxer/Cur mix who loves to play!  He gets along well with all of his foster canine siblings, both large and small. He even peacefully tolerates the family cats.   Bo was rescued from an owner who was about to have him euthanized since her new home didn't allow dogs. His foster mom couldn't bear to see that happen after learning how happy, full of life and potential Bo seemed.   We suspect Bo spent a great deal of time alone or in a crate. He is learning new manners every day and doing well with potty training. Bo does not like to go into a crate, possibly because of PTSD with them in his previous home. He loves to bounce when he's excited so he needs a reliable fenced yard to keep him safe.   To meet happy, handsome Bo, please apply at www.buttsmutts.com for immediate consideration!  ##2673280##

Story
Harley is basically a Golden Retriever… in a Boxer/Pit body 🐶✨ If you love the “always happy, always your shadow, always wagging” vibe — Harley is that dog. Harley is a 5-year-old Boxer/Pit mix who was adopted as a puppy and is now back with our rescue. She’s handling the change with a big smile and an even bigger heart, and she’s ready to find the home that will love her forever. 💖 This girl is pure sunshine: 🐾 Velcro dog — she’ll follow you from room to room 🐾 Tail always wiggling (seriously, it never stops) 🐾 Affectionate snuggle bug + playful companion 🐾 Loves walks, playtime, and then curling up on a cozy blanket or dog bed right next to you ✅ Housetrained & crate-trained ✅ Knows her basic commands (PetSmart puppy training graduate!) 🎓 ✅ Happy, eager to please, and full of love ✅ Good with cats and other dogs (dogs that are laid back, friendly, not overly hyper or in your face) 🐶🐱 ✅ Loves everyone she meets — she likes to bump into you with her behind when she gets excited ✅ Has done well with children (but she is on the larger size, caution is advised around young children) Harley will thrive in an active home that includes her in the fun — walks, playtime, adventures, and then all the cuddles. She brings so much joy, laughter, and affection wherever she goes. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend who will fill your days with tail wags, kisses, and cozy snuggles, Harley is your girl! 💗 📩 Interested in adopting (or fostering) Harley? Chanel is a 2 year old bully breed. She will be 3 on August 4. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old but need to rehome because I am a new first time mom and cannot give her the love and attention she deserves. She is playful, athletic, sweet, smart, loyal, and knows basic commands. Looking for a home with a loving family that will keep her active and cared for. Will include her large size cage.

Story
Roxie comes from a family breed. She’s a fourth generation of the bloodline. She’s extremely athletic and was raised with her brother Draco, from the same litter. And our cat Prince, whom she adores. Due to hardship, we had to relocate and as a result, she mistakenly got pregnant. We were at work. They have been in the house, completely supervised and trained before our displacement. Now, my husband and I are moving to separate places and the landlord just won’t allow us to keep them. Roxie must go to a loving family. I’m her mom, and I love her so much. She already has basic commands like sit, leave it, stay. She waits for the word okay to eat. She’s an amazing dog.
