This is Stahli - to know her is to absolutely love her! Stahli is a 3 year old boxer/boston terrier mix up for adoption in Minneapolis, Minnesota!! Not only is she stunningly pretty with a shiny black coat, she's also very smart. She loves performing tricks and pleasing her people when asked to do things. She craves adoration and accolades! Her favorite things are: snuggling, playing with dogs & toys and watching the neighborhood comings and goings. Stahli is the kind of dog that when she loves you, she loves you with every fiber of her being and that will never waiver. She has a goofy playfulness to her when combined with her adorable underbite, makes her simply irresistible! Gotta love a good snaggletooth! Stahli is a homebody and will thrive in a stable home without a lot of commotion and chaos. She is currently in a great foster home that is helping to build her confidence when meeting new people. In the past, meeting new people could overwhelm her, but she is getting much better! We don't think Stahli would thrive living in a large apartment complex. AND drumroll ::: Stahli is on Facebook + Instagram ::: she'd love it if you'd follow her. She loves being a star! @adoptstahli Stahli is being fostered in NE Minneapolis. To meet her in person, please fill out an adoption application. We will reach out to you within 72 hours to arrange a meet-n-greet. If you get to pet her cute spotted belly, you've won her over! Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hobbies: Sunbathing, snacking, and surprising everyone with her newfound zest for life.   Cammy is in her  “retired but thriving”  era — the Golden Girl of the group who’s discovered that naps are great, but playtime with friends might be even better!   Once a quiet observer, Cammy has blossomed into a social butterfly (well… maybe more of a cozy golden bumblebee ). She now happily snuggles up with her 14 dog friends and joins in on the fun when the mood strikes — from gentle wrestling matches to wiggly tail wags that could melt your heart.   She still appreciates a soft bed, a warm patch of sunlight, and a steady supply of snacks, but she’s also learned that life’s even better when you share it with your pack.   Cammy’s the total package — mellow, loving, and delightfully playful in her golden years. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance best friend who can keep you company for naps  and  bring a little joy to your day, Cammy’s your girl.    Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. YOU CAN HELP: Not able to foster or adopt right now? Please consider sponsoring an Underdog. Your donation will help us buy dog food and pay for medical costs. Who’s that handsome face? It’s Boss! Born in mid-September 2025, this Boxer mix heartthrob is already proving he’s got the whole “good boy” thing down. Boss walks like a champ on a leash, is rocking his potty training, and snoozes quietly in his kennel at night (and even during the day while his people are away). Basically… he’s beauty and brains. Boss is fueled by two main passions in life: snacks and fun. He loves to eat, loves to play, and brings a joyful, bouncy energy wherever he goes. He’s social, too — he gets along great with kids and adults, other dogs and has even met cats like a polite little gentleman. What’s missing from Boss’s story? His forever family. He’s ready to trade puppy kisses, tail wags, and lifelong loyalty for a cozy spot in your home (and maybe a few treats). If you’re looking for a fun-loving, well-started pup who’s ready to grow up by your side, Boss is waiting to meet you! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hi there, I’m Boomer Jr., but my foster mom calls me Boom! I’m about a year old Boxer mix and a total lovebug. I made my way to Minnesota all the way from North Carolina after a hurricane so the shelter there could help more pups in need. Now, I’m ready to find my forever home!   I’m the good boy—fully potty trained, kennel trained, and eager to learn. I’ve already mastered "sit," "lay down," and "get down," and I’m super food-motivated, so teaching me new tricks will be a breeze. I love making doggie friends, especially bigger ones, because sometimes I forget my size and play a little too hard with the tiny pups. I would need a home with another dog because I love to play!   I’m also great in the car—I’ll just curl up and relax while you drive. I do get a bit nervous around new people and might bark or growl at first, but give me a treat or two, and I’ll be your best friend in no time. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without small kids, as sometimes I am anxious.   I’m a playful guy with lots of energy, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me to zoom around in. I love my toys and love antlers and bones to chew on.    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion, I’m your pup. I can’t wait to meet you and start our adventures together!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. This is winter, she is named this I assume because she was born in January. She is the sweetest, girl ever met. She does this wiggle thing everytime you come back home to her or anytime new people enter the room. She’s so easily trainable. She knows bring it here, come here, drop it, leave it, high five, sit, lay down, turn around, and catch. She is a fast learner. She gets along with everyone. She loves walks and the Dog park and can Be off leash in an open field. She love, love, loves playing fetch, will need a cut off time unless you can keep up lol. She is kennel trained but when I leave the house she stays out the kennel and only ever is in the kennel if she doesnt listen to bone off bed;. Which she does have her own bed but I allow her to sleep on the bed sometimes and when I want her off the bed she will go to her own. I would love an active family for her. I would love to babysit her in future if you are willing. Shes lovable and deserves to be loved.

This boy was found dumped at a flea market. He is a sweetheart! He is very friendly and gets along with everyone. He has done well in playgroups and loves to play. Please give him the patience that is needed for all of it. He deserves a family that will love, spoil and keep him forever. He is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
