Story
Rosie is an incredibly sweet 2-3 year old boxer/pittie mix who’s ready to find her forever home! She was abandoned in a small town in the south and was found by a volunteer. She didn’t have a microchip and after many calls/messages/posts, no one came for her. Fortunately, 4 Paws 4 Rescue welcomed her with open arms. She ended up testing positive for heart worms and has finally completed the painful treatment and is ready to be adopted. Rosie may be a little shy at first but is dog and kid friendly and has never met a stranger. She doesn’t seem curious about cats but has not seen one outside of in between a glass door. She’s house trained and can be in a kennel, although she whines, but is never in one at her foster home since she’s house trained. She loves walks, toys, and snuggles on the couch. If you’re looking to add an extremely sweet and loving girl to your family, please give Rosie a chance! Apply at www.4paws4rescue.comJuly 26, 2024, 8:35 am

Story
Esther is 45 pounds (needs to lose a few pounds of baby weight) and 1.5 years old. She loves people and she loves chewing on her bones. She's not a barker, digger, or climber. She always uses the doggie door to potty outside. She gets along with most dogs, but I don't know how she is with cats. Esther would love to have children to play with after she receives training. If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
** DO BEST WITH FENCED YARD ** Skittles is a 16 month old, 45 lb love bug!   She is happiest when she is getting all the skritches and bully rubs!   Skittles was born outside and lived there until she was rescued.  We are not sure what breeds she may be, especially with her naturally docked tail!     Her whole booty wiggles when she wags! Skittles is dog and cat friendly. She is potty trained and does great when left alone uncrated.   She is a bit shy when first meeting new scenarios, but warms up within a bit. Skittles has a new found love for toys and likes them all!  She gets so excited, she wants to play with them all. She enjoys taking every toy and putting it into in her bed for safe keeping!     Skittles would do best with a fenced yard, as she is still learning what a leash is and gets easily scared with new things.  She relies on her people to give her the comfort and confidence when encountering new things!   If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Skittles’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
