Story
Meet Ribbons, a beautiful pup with the energy of a young dog and the manners of a mature lady. She is housebroken, trained on the basics, food-motivated enough to keep learning, eager to please, and very smart. She is a happy girl with a very strong tail that wags a lot; would be a great companion for a family without tiny children. She loves her walks and is great on a run. A genuine people person (dog), Ribbons is beloved by all who meet her. She enjoys belly rubs, scratches, and visiting with people who invite her into their shops as she walks down Grand (it keeps happening - people love her!). She has an indestructible rubber ball. Her mission in life is to go get it. At least once a day, her foster family reports, Ribbons decides no one is paying enough attention to her and drops her ball near someone’s feet. Otherwise, she is a very chill girl around the house - avoiding the cat and napping a lot. A previous foster reported that Ribbons is good with other dogs. Today, we can say that she is dog-reactive on walks, but she seems to really want to meet them and is getting better with training. Slow introductions would be in order before she integrates into a household with other dogs.

Story
🏔️ Meet Rainier! 🏔️ Looking for a best friend, couch companion, playmate, and personal shadow all rolled into one? Rainier might be your guy! ❤️ Rainier is an incredibly sweet, playful boy with plenty of energy for fun—but once playtime is over, he’s more than happy to settle in for some serious couch cuddles. When Rainier bonds with his person, he becomes a certified Velcro dog. If you move to another room, chances are Rainier is coming too. He just likes being wherever his favorite humans are. 🥰 This boy LOVES to chew, and he takes his toy-destruction responsibilities very seriously. 😂 Plush toys may have a short life expectancy in Rainier’s home, so sturdy toys like KONGs and Nylabones will be his best friends. Like many young, playful dogs, he can get a little mouthy when he’s excited, but he redirects nicely when offered a toy. Rainier has also shown some great house-dog skills! He can stay in a crate or kennel for 9+ hours without an accident, and he usually sleeps peacefully through the night. He’s even perfectly happy snoozing in bed with his human. 💤❤️ His housetraining is still a work in progress—his “I need to go outside” signals can be pretty subtle—but he’s learning with lots of praise and encouragement. In fact, affection and praise may be even more exciting to Rainier than treats! 🐶 Other dogs? Yes, please! Rainier likes canine friends and may bark when he’s eager to play—especially when he can see a potential buddy but can’t get over to them. Leash walking is another skill Rainier is still polishing. Sometimes he pulls, and other times he becomes a statue because something fascinating—a person, dog, squirrel, or cat—has caught his attention. With patience, practice, and positive reinforcement, he’s got plenty of potential to keep improving. Rainier isn’t looking for perfection—he’s looking for someone who will keep teaching him while appreciating the wonderfully sweet, silly, affectionate dog he already is. If your idea of a great companion is play hard, chew harder, cuddle often, and follow you everywhere, Rainier would love to meet you. 🏔️🐾❤️
