This big boy is looking for his forever home after being left tied in an alley as a pup and then adopted months ago and then recently returned because owner doesn’t have time for him. This boy is absolutely gorgeous with a fantastic temperament and outgoing personality. He lived with two shepherd mix f dogs and got along great with them. Has not been around small dogs or cats. Has been around kids and did well but older children would be best due to his size and strength. He is housebroken crate trained utd on shots microchipped and neutered. Owner with pt experience and fenced yard preferred. If your looking for a big mild mannered friend please come meet Brimo. Brimo enjoys long walks and playing frisbee.

Story
Hi there, my name is Tony! I`m handsome as can be…I love to play and goof around…I`m incredibly smart and love to learn…and yet, here I am. At the shelter without a family...and this actually isn`t my first time. I was adopted and my family was awesome, but sometimes things don`t work out the way you planned. So, I`m back again, trying my best to find a family who will love me as much as I love them. I had kind of a rough start to my life: I originally had a really terrible skin infection in the very first home I had and kids were really mean to me. Because of the mean kids, I don`t really know how to trust nice kids, so adults make me feel safest. I adore the staff and volunteers, especially when they give me yummy snacks. I just really want to be taken care of for the rest of my life. Such a simple thing to take for granted: being cared for. I want someone to love me and look out for me. Isn`t that what we all want? If you think I sound like a fella you want to meet, please call to set up an appointment to visit me today! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- AVID microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2021 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.00. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.00)Leash and collar included

Story
Hello, my name is Moto Moto! I orginally came to the shelter as a stray. Upon arrival, the staff noticed that I had some medical concerns. They got me all fixed up and now I feel brand new! You would never know I wasn`t always this handsome! I was adopted, but unfortunately my new family was not ready for a dog so I came back at the shelter. The staff have tried me out in doggy playgroup and I have a few female dogs that I am friends with. I am very playful and can sometimes forget my size, but I listen well when another dog corrects me. I love to go on walks, but I feel the need to explore everything and meet everyone so I wear a harness to help with my pulling. If you`re looking for a big, lovable lug I`m the one you want! Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better! Some notes from the medical team: 1) Moto Moto tested positive for Lyme on an in house 4 DX test. The positive test result for lyme on a 4dx test indicates that he/she was exposed to the bacteria that causes lyme disease at some point in his life. Less than 20 percent of dogs that test positive will ever develop clinical signs of lyme disease. In the absence of symptoms (lameness, joint swelling, lethargy, decreased appetite), we do not recommend treatment. Moto Moto did have an intermittent limp which can be a symptom of Lyme Disease. He has been started on treatment with Doxycycline and will be sent home with any remaining medication.2) Moto Moto was found to have entropion of both of his eyes when he arrived to BCHS as a stray dog. This means his lower eyelids rolled inward causing his eyelashes to rub on his cornea. This is very uncomfortable and can cause issues such as infection and corneal ulcers. Moto Moto does have scars on his cornea likely from ulcers that had occured prior to his arrival. He had surgery to fix both of his eyes during his stay at BCHS. He has healed well and is comfortable. 3) Moto Moto

Theo is in a foster home. Please call to make an appointment to visit with Theo. I arrived as a stray so there is not anything known of my past. When I arrived I was pretty scared. It takes me a little to warm up and feel comfortable with new people. I love food and that is the best way to make friends with me! I am a big old goofball, who is full of love once I get to know you. I am looking for my new family to be teens/adults who have big dog experience. I need training and work on my socialization skills. I know some basic commands and I am ready to learn more. I am a very smart boy and pick up on training quickly! I love playing with other dogs, but no cats for me. If you are looking for a big headed, love bug like me, come meet me today! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Hello! My name is Ivy. I am a sweet, snuggly girl looking for a forever family. I am an adventurous, happy-go-lucky gal. I love to play and run all around, but also enjoy snuggling too. I like kids, but prefer ones 10 and up (I tend to bulldoze little ones over when I get too excited). I am crate trained and know my basic commands! Come visit me today! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
