Story
Hi, my name is Harper! I was born in December of 2023. I appear to be a boxer mix and weigh 50 pounds. I came into rescue after I was found wandering around a rural neighborhood. I am the sweetest girl and love everyone I meet. No warm up period needed. My people say I have a lot of personality and I am a total wiggle butt. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I do well with other dogs. I would love to be with an active family. I was made for hiking! I have never been around children so it might be a good idea if they were eight and up. I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. I am house trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and love to be out and about. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application links and additional information.

Story
Yo - I`m Steffan! I`m a hunk and a half. Some volunteers have even called me a snack. I`m a really smart guy and I promise to be the best boi you have ever met in your whole life. Besides being handsomer than anything, my one fault might be the drool. It is a situation all by itself! But, the one who drools, rules! That`s my motto!Swing by the shelter and meet me, fall in love with me and take me home!

Story
Meet Rowdy! This adorable pup is most likely a boxer mix, possibly with a little pit bull sprinkled in. He is a great dog with a fantastic temperament. Rowdy loves other dogs and is in a foster home with several other dogs, big and small. He loves all people and is a happy and friendly boy.  He is only 5-6 months old and still growing. He will likely be a bigger dog as an adult - around 60-70 lbs.  We would love to see Rowdy with an active family and a home with a yard.  Rowdy is vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped. He will be neutered between 8-12 months of age at our cost. His adoption fee is $525   We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 2-year-old Boxer-Bulldog mix who is ready to rock your world. Billy is so unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's great with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person who can take him for walks, hikes and other outings. Billy is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt him? Billy is currently in California, but can be transported to you in Washington. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET RILEY, a 3-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home! Riley was rescued in the nick of time from a crowded California shelter where he was pretty terrified... He sat in the back of the kennel and looked at people as they walked by. Riley is doing so much better, but he still gets scared in new situations, so needs a patient and loving foster or adopter. He has done fine with other dogs so far, and can be tested again. He weighs about 50-55 lbs. He is currently in California but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

Story
Doja will be turning 6 years old the last week of November this year. He loves playing ball and is treat motivated. His favorite treats are pig ears and bones I buy at the butchers. He also loves cheese. He is friendly and loves to follow his person from room to room. He sleeps with me and loves to cuddle. He is afraid of loud noises and fireworks. I have to Medicate him on the 4th of July. He doesn’t like the rain or cold. He likes to be warm all the time. He only barks when he wants to play. He has never been aggressive towards anyone or any other animal. He gets the zoomies after bath time.
