Yo - I`m Steffan! I`m a hunk and a half. Some volunteers have even called me a snack. I`m a really smart guy and I promise to be the best boi you have ever met in your whole life. Besides being handsomer than anything, my one fault might be the drool. It is a situation all by itself! But, the one who drools, rules! Story
Hi, my name is Harper! I was born in December of 2023. I appear to be a boxer mix and weigh 50 pounds. I came into rescue after I was found wandering around a rural neighborhood. I am the sweetest girl and love everyone I meet. No warm up period needed. My people say I have a lot of personality and I am a total wiggle butt. I have never been cat tested so my people are going to say no to a home with furry felines. I do well with other dogs. I would love to be with an active family. I was made for hiking! I have never been around children so it might be a good idea if they were eight and up. I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one. I am up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. I am house trained and walk well on a leash. I ride well in the car and love to be out and about. If you are interested in giving me a forever home please email adopt@thezoeygroup.com for application links and additional information.

Story
Found as a stray after being struck by a car, this sweet 8.5-year-old lost one eye to a blood clot, but it hasn’t slowed him down. He’s affectionate, loyal, and a little clumsy thanks to reduced depth perception. He’s no equally happy on a hike or snuggled on the couch. He gets along with cats, kids, and small dogs. He is leash reactive toward other dogs and strangers, so he does best with an experienced owner who understands reactivity. Off leash in a secure space, he’s comfortable and able to open up. No health issues, no medications, not a picky eater. He just needs the right home to thrive!

Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Hey Everyone - I`m Clyde and I am a LOVEBUG! I love people and I love giving them hugs. Even when it is mid walk, in a store. Wherever, doesn`t matter to me. I need to pause my walks at least 4 times to get hugs!If you love hugs! You will love me! And you know what, I could use some love, before I came to the shelter, I was mistreated by people! Maybe you can show me that people are great and help me heal my wounds.

Story
Hi! I`m Yoga! I`m known for my classic downward dog moves! I am all about the namaste!I love going for walks and hikes. But I love treats even more! I get along with all the people but I am a bit pickier about other dogs. Lately, my fav volunteers have been walking me with other dogs and they say I am doing so much better! I might like to have a canine sibling if I can sniff them out really well first.Contact the shelter and I`ll teach you some yoga!
