Meet Sophia, Pippy the Tomboy 🐶 What comes to your mind when you hear the name, “Sophia”? Calm and stoic? Then, think again. Our Sophia is lively and full of curiosity. She responds to your every word by tilting her head right and left. Sophia will shower you with kisses once she knows you. Sophia was rescued from a massive dog meat trade in Korea. She is learning how to be with people in a professional training center. Now she's ready to meet her own family!! * Sophia is a goofy bundle of enthusiasm, so she needs to join a family with adults or older children.

Story
Kiki is a 6 year old rescue dog. I have had him for about 2.5 years now and unfortunately I need to rehome him due to moving. Kiki is highly affectionate and overall an amazing dog. He is about 45 lbs and up to date with all his shots. Kiki does have some general anxiety around strangers and when out in public but overall he is a great dog and loves to play with other dogs and spend time cuddling with people. Kiki takes medications for Epilepsy and anxiety. He just had a recent blood work and MRI and he's got a clean bill of health. The cost of his food and medication could be covered by me for the right home.

Story
Help rehome the most lovable, easy-going, Margie dog. She’s perfect for someone who does not want a high maintenance dog. She’s a trained dog that loves to be a little couch potato. Margie gets along very well with cats, and has lived with other dogs and got along great! She will do best in a yard and loves cuddling. She’s a great fit for someone that isn’t in the middle of the city like me and would be great if she could live with another smaller dog. I travel too often to give her the love that she deserves. It breaks my heart to let her go, but my greatest concern is for her to be in a place where she’s happy. She comes with everything you would need for her.

Story
Welcome Honey to CCPAL foster Program. Honey is a 3 year old Boxer mixed dog. She is potty trained. We think Honey survived the flood in Kerrville. A good samaritan has taken her in and is giving her good nutrition and love until we find her forever home. She was really scratched up and had a wound on her front left leg. She will be spayed soon and she is going to the vet again for a follow up on her leg. Our guess is it may have gotten broken and healed back on it’s own due to what she has gone through. She is good on a leash, very loving and bonds deeply. She lives with 5 cats right now but she is much too interested and we feel her best home would be without cats. She loves all people and no one is a stranger. She is good with dogs her size and is an energetic girl. Her best home would be with an active and ourdoorsy family that wants a great companion to join them in their outdoor fun. She is looking wonderful and filling out nicely in her new foster home. She lost some muscle around her bum area due to the length of time she was without food. Despite this, she would make an amazing family pet. She would love to be the only dog and be the center of her families attention. She weighs about 40 pounds and is a taller dog but medium weight. She is great in a car and would make a great dog in settings where lots of people are around. She is lower in shedding. She will be getting spayed soon and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Daphne! This little cutie pie was found wandering all by herself in a rural area. She is safe in one of our foster homes and doing very well. Daphne is around 9 weeks old and around 10 lbs. We're not sure what her breed mix is, but she has a pretty brindle color and will likely grow to about 50 lbs as an adult. She is a lovely girl.  Daphne is a friendly and social pup. She likes other dogs and of course loves to play. She is learning the basics in her foster home and her continued training and socialization will be important so that she can grow up to be a good canine citizen. She has a lovely temperament and will do well in most settings.  Daphne has received her first puppy vaccines, is microchipped and de-wormed. She will be spayed at our cost around 8-12 months. Her adoption fee is $525 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
