Story
Prince has a short coat that is mostly black with a white chest. Prince is a very handsome dog. He is very muscular and strong. Prince enjoys the outdoor life but will do well in an indoor environment. He does will with laid back dogs but will stand his ground when challenged. Due to this it is probably best for him to be in a one-dog home. Prince is leash trained but pulls a bit because he is so strong. Prince will need an owner that is patient with him and will continue his training. He will need an owner that knows how to gently handle a strong dog. Prince will need regular exercise and will need to be in a home with a fenced yard. Prince is crate trained and kennel trained. He is currently working on his house training. Prince is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. ##1499381##

He is extremely people friendly and loves to play with all his toys. Freddy is very puppy like with puppy play tendencies and mischievous. He enjoys playing and exploring the outdoors. Freddy is very happy when he is out running his yard. He will thrive with a family who has an active outdoor lifestyle.  Freddy is good with other dogs but needs to learn how to properly approach them. He is excellent with older children. Freddy is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and is neutered. ##1499382##

Story
Hannah Bea is the happiest girl, despite the fact she’s been in shelters and boarding for almost a year now!! This wonderful girl deserves a loving home of her own. Even though she has lived in these types of environments for so long, Hannah is always such a friendly girl. She is wonderful with every person she meets and she holds no grudges that she doesn’t have her own people. She will happily go on walks and give affection to anyone that will spend time with her. She loves to go on car rides whenever she can. And even though she’s sometimes a little stiff, she eagerly goes hiking, too. She can be an exuberant girl when she meets new people, with her wiggly little bob-tail and leaning in for affection. You’d never know she is 8-9yrs old! She is a very social, 73lb girl that appears to be a boxer / shepherd maybe lab mix. Whatever her breed, she really is an exceptional girl that deserves a loving family and soft bed of her own. She gets along great with all other dogs and loves to have play dates, but she doesn’t need a playmate in the home. She is not a fan of the kitties though, so no cats, please. Even though she’s a bit of an older gal, she is healthy as can be. She would love to be included on lots of outdoor activities. Hanging out in a large fenced yard of her own would be wonderful, too. She adores children but because she is powerful and can be very wiggly, kids must be over 10yrs old

Story
Approx 4wk foster needed, until he gains enough weight to be neutered. He will then be available for adoption. His foster home will have first option to adopt. Carson is such a nice boy! He needs some training snd to learn more manners, but overall he is very sweet tempered. He is approx 2yrs old, and weighs just under 60lbs. He should gain at least another 5-8lbs. He is a typical friendly, wiggly Boxer that would love to have someone take him jogging and hiking. Long walks are a favorite, too. He is a very social boy and enjoys meeting new people so a socially active home would be ideal. He’s great with other animals, too, but he’d love to be the only dog in the home. Carson is great with kids but he does still need more manners so kids must be over 10yrs old. A Boxer experienced home would be best. He must have a 6ft, securely fenced yard. During foster, all supplies are provided.

Story
I've had Loki since he was 1years old, My mother and her husbands dog had puppies and he was one of those puppies. He is about 7 years old, born in early 2016. Overall, he's a wonderful dog that loves to be cuddled and will sit with you for hours. Likes fetch and tug of war, but not with bulky things (IE big knotted ropes). Loves going on walks and hiking and is very obedient. Leash trained, house trained, potty trained, and crate trained. Does well with other dogs, but takes a couple weeks to really warm up to them in a living space. The only reason I am CONSIDERING rehoming him is I am traveling around right now, and he is not doing well with it. He has separation anxiety (anxiety in general) and needs a more stable home / another dog would be ideal. Its not fair for me to leave him in a crate in an airbnb where he just panicks. I am looking for a good home, with a yard and possibly another dog to play with. (preferably 2+, I think puppies are to much energy for him)

Story
Hello! My name is Rosco and I was brought in by an Animal Control Officer on 5/28/23 and now I`m ready to find my new family!I`m a little more than 3 years old and am considered an adult dog, but I`m still a young man in a lot of ways. My personality can be described as bouncy and fun! I`m a bit of a talker when I want my way although I`m learning that that`s not the way to get it. Speaking of what I know, I`ve got several commands down! I can sit, lay down and speak on command. The staff here have also noticed that I seem to have an `inside voice` when asked to speak on command. They say it`s pretty cute.I weight around 60lbs and would be considered a large dog. During my time at RASKC, the staff thought it might be a good idea to try and make me some friends. Turns out I like dogs! I have a flirty, bouncy playstyle but I can get overwhelmed when other dogs are very forward. I did best wih a lowkey neutered male of a similar size. My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hi, my name is Cubby! I found myself running the streets with my best buddy, a small male terrier over 2 months ago. We hitched a ride to a place called a shelter. My buddy and I shared a kennel, and one day he left me, and I stayed by myself scared and confused. My rescue who is a senior dog rescue was asked to help me, even though I am a good boy no one wanted me, and I was going to be killed for something called "space". The rest is told by my rescue group and what they've learned about me and the type of forever home I need to be successful. Cubby is truly a sweet little guy who has some training but admittedly still needs a family to continue what we've started. He's good on a leash, but let's be honest Cubby is young (under 2) and walking just isn't enough to get him tired! He needs an active family, who will play with him in a fully fenced in back yard (this alone will not tire him out) and go on adventures, he'd be an awesome running partner or hiking or any adventure he's up for! Cubby would do well with another well-balanced female or male dog his size or smaller. Cubby is scared of larger dogs, and we feel it's not a great fit for him. As with some dogs who have had limited training, can be (at times be leash reactive), he can be re-directed easily. Cubby does sit on command; we've been re-introducing his kennel to him. He does do well if left for a couple of hours and can be in a kennel in the car for up to 4 hours. We've started feeding him in his kennel to help him associate "good vibes", we also place in his favorite toys. Cubby has not been destructive if left out, but we feel kennel skills are important especially for his well-being and in case of an emergency situation. Cubby resides with 5 other mixed breed dogs at our foundation, and he's done well, we also very recently introduced a recent shelter pull (Shihtzu) who he plays with nonstop. He wants to please and does do the "boxer talk-smack" he truly is a sweet dog who deserves his forever family. Please be an active family, children are fine over 10 years old as his energy sometimes is a bit full on. He does like to snuggle, so he would probably love a child to snuggle with. He is good with toys and food (can take away a toy or pick up food mid-stream). We feel we've mentioned everything we know thus far about this sweetheart. He is housebroken and will go to our slider to let us know he needs to go out by turning a few circles. He does sleep through the night. He's fully vaccinated, altered, fully vetted and microchipped. Cubby loved the snow and isn't deterred by the cold or rain. No dog parks please and a fully fenced yard would be preferred. We do not answer emails or phone calls, next step is an application, see our FAQ's for more information. **Disclaimer-3rd party apps are not allowed to share this post on any other platform, doing so will cause litigation**

Story
Meet adorable and active Annie! This Lurcher girl is between 5- 6 years old and was rescued by the American Lurcher Project. Annie weighs approximately 60 pounds. She is a very energetic girl and definitely needs a house with a yard. Annie is outgoing, intelligent and mischievous! Annie is food- motivated food and loves her blankets and playing. Annie adores her chin scratches and everything outdoors. She’ll make a great exercise partner as she digs walking, running and hiking. Annie needs a high energy adopter like herself. Annie lived in a very small apartment and even though the people walked her 3 to 5 miles a day, they just couldn’t wear her out. Annie needs to be an only dog because she is way too energetic for most other dogs and plays very roughly. Annie should not go to a home with children. She is a resource guarder and sees the children as competition for her things and food. Annie also has Separation Anxiety that had improved before the Pandemic but now that everyone is home all the time, she is back to square one. The owners did work with a behaviorist and some behaviors have improved. Bless her little heart, Annie likely has some of these issues as she was confined to a very small space all the time. Annie is such a great girl and really deserves a chance! Annie is very routine oriented and can be anxious if the routine is disturbed. She responds well to mental stimulation as well as physical. And that’s a great way to wear her out! Annie would be a great agility dog or some other activity that really makes her think. Miss Annie is ready to meet you at Greyhound Pets in Woodinville. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. For questions, please email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com or for an adoption application, go to: https://www.greyhoundpetsinc.org/adopt/adoption-guide/. You really have to meet this outgoing and truly amazing girl!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Juniper is a happy, friendly, adorable lab mix. She is affectionate and playful. Juniper loves to play ball, fetch and hang out with you or play in the yard. She loves attention and loves to give kisses. Juniper is a bit shy, but will warm up quickly and bond with you fast. She is so eager to please and can’t wait to go on adventures with you. Juniper will need a home with a fenced yard as she is active and young. Juniper found herself as a young pup in a shelter in California. She was adopted and then dumped at another shelter after she was hit by a car. Juniper was fortunately rescued by Greyhound Pets in Woodinville even though she’s definitely NOT a greyhound mix. Juniper is beyond darling and is so deserving of a true forever home. She has a slight head tilt (adorable) and has some hip dysplasia but now she is absolutely happy and playful and has a great future ahead of her. Juniper is a gentle, sweet soul and has a coat like a Labrador or short coated Golden Retriever. And while her "greyhound" roots are not to be found, she is an adorable member of our GPI family and we can't wait to find this darling girl her forever home. Please email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com for an application and more information. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lilly is an upbeat and super friendly 4-year-old beauty. Lilly loves being active and loves the outdoors and is all about playtime. Lilly likes being around people, but has a high prey drive so needs to be the only dog in the home. Lilly will also need a home with a fenced yard and without cats. Due to her prey drive, we do not recommend Lilly for a home with young children. Older kids are good because they can play with her and exercise her. Lilly is very eager to learn and enjoys doing training and working with our volunteers/trainer. She would be a great candidate for agility. Lilly’s adoption includes training sessions with our trainer. Any questions, please email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com.
