Hi, my name is Clementine, and Im looking for a human who believes in second chances (or in my case, third).
Ive had a bit of a rough start. Ive been loved and then left behind twice now—once because my human got pregnant, and the second time because I had kittens. When my second family left, I didn't understand. I spent over a month sleeping on their doorstep, waiting and hoping every single day that they would open the door and let me back in. But they never did.
Thankfully, a kind stranger heard my story and refused to let me stay out there. They rescued me, and that is how I officially became a Cat Posse cat! Even though Ive been let down so many times, my heart is still so big. I have so much love to give, and Im just waiting for the right person to finally show me that "forever" actually means forever.
From her foster mom: Clementine is a beautiful, resilient 2 year old Calico girl who deserves the very best life has to offer. Because of her past abandonment and the time she spent waiting on that doorstep, she is still learning how to fully trust and feel safe. When she gets excited or happy, she can get overstimulated quickly. She isnt being mean—she is just a highly sensitive soul whose nervous system gets a little overwhelmed.
She needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands that love sometimes means giving a cat her space. With a calm routine and a human who can read her subtle body cues, Clementine is an incredibly rewarding companion who will reward your patience with deep loyalty and the sweetest purrs.
