Story
Penelope (you can call her Penny) is one of those special senior kitties who exudes poise, wisdom, and confidence. Her poise comes from knowing that her gorgeous calico markings and bright green eyes make her the most beautiful creature in any room. Penny’s wisdom comes from 16 years of observing and managing hoomans, knowing exactly how to make us do her bidding. Her confidence comes from knowing that the sunniest spot in the house is always reserved for her. She will bask there for hours — it’s why we call her the Sun Princess. She’s still plenty frisky, too! Penny will bound to the top of a cat tree. When she finds her favorite mouse toy, she carries it around proudly, meowing her triumph. Penny is looking for an experienced and quiet cat home, where she can be worshiped as the only kitty. Story
Hiyee! I'm Cabana from the Summer Themed kitty crew! I’m a pretty little dilute tabbico kitten and the boldest little adventurer of my litter! While I may be the smallest kitten in the group, I definitely make up for it with confidence, curiosity, and nonstop exploration. New toy? I’ll inspect it first. Mysterious sound? Already investigating. Tall cat tree? I’m halfway up it before anyone notices. I’ve been raised around people since I was teeny tiny, so I’m extremely social and comfortable being handled, cuddled, and doted on. I love to play, but I’m also incredibly affectionate once I finally tire myself out. I’m the kind of kitten who turns ordinary moments into entertainment just by existing. My foster family says I have “main character energy,” and honestly… they may be right. I’m brave, hilarious, endlessly curious, and always looking for my next adventure. If your home could use a little extra sunshine and chaos in the cutest possible form, I’m ready to move in with you and one of my siblings! (Because, 2 kittens are better than one!)  MUST FOLLOW APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Go to  https://www.kittenrescue101.org/adopt/available-cats and Click "adopt" on the cat's profile you are interested in. Clicking adopt does not mean that you are adopting this cat. It will take you to an application to fill out which is the first step of the adoption process.  2) If your application is approved, you will receive a call back within 2-3 days with an appointment time slot. We do our best to match the cat to the best environment/family/situation as possible based on the cat's personality and temperament. We cannot call back every applicant with an update. You will receive a call if your application is selected. Thank you for your understanding.  To ensure our team can focus on their care and lifesaving work, we kindly ask that you refrain from calling or messaging for status updates.  Because we receive a high volume of applications, we are only able to contact those who are selected for the next steps and will not respond to every inquiry. Thank you for understanding and patience.  ##2702466##

Story
Please contact Dana (DanaCC4C@gmail.com), (925) 586-6408 for more information about this pet. Want to meet? [Fill out the Application], then email it to the contact in this bio. Coffee’s story starts with resilience. She was rescued on March 1st from a condo complex in Concord, along with her four tiny two-week-old kittens, after a neighbor stepped in to help break a cycle of unplanned litters. Despite that rough beginning, Coffee was a wonderful mama—and now it’s her turn to be cared for. She’s a stunning calico with a playful, quirky personality. She’ll follow me around, chirp when she wants something, and then, just as suddenly, dart away from pets if she’s on the move. She hangs out with me while I work from home, making biscuits in the cat bed on my desk before settling in for a nap nearby. While she can be a little skittish during busy moments, when she’s relaxed—curled up on a bed, perched in a cat tree, or held in your arms—she’s very content to be petted and happily purrs away. She settles into new homes and around new cats quickly, though she definitely prefers to be the alpha cat. She does best with easygoing cats who either let her be in charge or simply ignore her, like my 17-year-old cat does. More than anything, she loves having the run of the house and, once she’s comfortable, doesn’t enjoy being confined to a single room. She doesn’t sleep on the bed with me, but she does nap in the cat trees in my room—especially the ones by the windows. She loves watching the bird feeder and will intensely chirp and twitch her tail while keeping an eye on the birds outside. Coffee is a fine-boned, petite kitty at about 7½ pounds. She was likely born around June of last year, so she’s about a year old now and probably won’t grow much more. Meet her on Saturday 1-4pm (May 23) at the Pet Food Express in downtown Walnut Creek.  CC4C Sponsor: Dana, DanaCC4C@gmail.com, 925-586-6408 Foster: me, Walnut Creek DOB: June 2025May 23, 2026, 6:50 pm
