Coffee’s story starts with resilience. She was rescued on March 1st from a condo complex in Concord, along with her four tiny, two-week-old kittens, after a neighbor stepped in to help break a cycle of unplanned litters. Despite that rough beginning, Coffee was a good mama—and now it’s her turn to be cared for. She’s a stunning calico with a vibrant personality to match: expressive, confident and curious. She likes to be where the action is. Coffee doesn’t fade into the background—she engages with you, follows your lead, and brings a lively, affectionate presence into the home. She’s currently a bit petite from raising her kittens, but with proper care after her upcoming spay on April 26, she’s expected to fill out a little. Social and adaptable, Coffee settles in quickly with other cats. She seems especially comfortable around male cats (enjoys her foster-mate Zorro) and is confident enough to do her own thing when she wants. More than anything, she enjoys being near her people—whether that’s supervising your day or simply keeping you company. About 10 months old, Coffee is still very much a kitten at heart. Patches is a calico tabby girl with a cute pirate eye patch, and Pippen is a sleek house panther baby boy. Patches is very outgoing, purring and head bunting while approaching new people. Pippen is a bit shy at first and depends on his sister for confidence and comfort. They are affectionate and love bird and squirrel watching through the window. Both get along with other cats, including their brother Grayson. They were rescued from a cat colony of mostly black and tiger-striped cats during the height of kitten season. When I first found them, their tiny eyes were crusted shut, they were dehydrated, and so very hungry—without help, they would not have survived.Now, after lots of love and care, these girls are completely healthy and have blossomed into two of the sweetest, most affectionate kittens.
