Story
About Me Hi there! I’m one of the newest residents at The PURRfect Match Cat Adoption Center, and I’m still settling into all the new sights, sounds, and routines around here. Because I just arrived, my friends at The Rescue Crew are still getting to know my personality, favorite things, and what kind of home will help me thrive best. For now, I’ll likely be spending my days relaxing and acclimating in a cozy kitty condo while I take everything in at my own pace. Big changes can be a little overwhelming at first, so kind voices, gentle pets, and patient humans help me feel safer and more confident each day. I’d absolutely love visitors willing to stop by, say hello, and spend a little time getting to know me while I settle in. As I become more comfortable, the team will continue learning more about my personality, favorite toys, cuddle preferences, and all the little things that make me special. Be sure to check back often for updates as my personality blossoms and my story unfolds. In the meantime, if you stop by The PURRfect Match Cat Adoption Center, you just might be one of the first people to become my new friend! Story
Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Caleigh, a stunning calico queen with a spunky personality and an endearing charm that will steal your heart! This shy beauty blossoms with calm, respectful interaction, quickly building trust with her favorite people. Caleigh is a cat who loves her independence but also craves affection. She enjoys exploring, and while currently residing in her own room, she relishes her daily tours of the house and yard in your arms. She’s surprisingly calm, never attempting to escape during these adventures. Expect snuggle sessions, purrs, and playful solo romps with toys—even if they sometimes end up in her water bowl! Speaking of water, Caleigh has a fun quirk: she loves to "swim" in her water dish, so an anti-tip bowl and frequent cleaning are a must! This smart girl will let you know when her food dish is empty or when she desires attention, a true communicator. While she tolerates car rides (with some vocal commentary!), she's a trooper at the vet and allows for nail trims (a few at a time!). Caleigh thrives as an only cat, as she can be a bit feisty with other felines. She has not been around dogs or children. She has a dedicated scratching routine on her towers and an upholstered bench, so provide plenty of scratching options. Important Considerations for Caleigh's New Family: Diet: Caleigh requires Royal Canin SO Rx kibble due to a history of bladder crystals. This specialized diet is essential for her health and can be costly, so please factor this into your budget. Weight Management: She'd benefit from a family dedicated to helping her reach a healthy weight. Litter Box: Caleigh is a "high urinator," so a top-entry litter box would be ideal for her comfort. Ceiling Fans: She's not accustomed to ceiling fans, so a gradual introduction in a larger space would be best. Caleigh is a truly special cat, full of personality and waiting for a patient, understanding home where she can shine as the queen she is!

Story
Marmalade is a beautiful, independent girl who likes to take life at her own pace. She can be pretty aloof at first and may need extra time to feel comfortable in a new home. While she isn’t usually the type to run up asking for attention, she does occasionally come over for pets when she’s ready. Her funny little love language? Sleeping right on top of her person! If you wake up at night and the blankets are feeling a little heavy, just know your friend has quietly chosen you as her favorite nap spot. Marmalade will likely do best with an adopter who understands shy or independent cats, is willing to give her time, and can start her in a smaller space while she adjusts. She may not be the best fit for someone looking for a super social, cuddly cat right away — but for the right person, she has her own quiet, quirky way of bonding.

Story
Posie is a gentle, kind-hearted soul who is looking for a peaceful home where she can simply enjoy life's quiet moments. This lovely middle-aged girl may be shy when meeting new people, but beneath her reserved exterior is a sweet and affectionate companion just waiting to blossom. Posie prefers to take her time getting to know someone. Once she feels safe and comfortable, she'll begin seeking out gentle pets and attention, rewarding your patience with her quiet trust and companionship. There is something truly special about earning the affection of a cat like Posie—it feels like a gift. While she enjoys the occasional play session, Posie is much more interested in relaxing nearby and keeping an eye on the world around her. She is perfectly content observing household activities, lounging in a cozy spot, and spending time with her favorite people. Posie would thrive in a calm, low-key home. She is very afraid of dogs and needs a canine-free environment where she can feel secure. She can coexist peacefully with other cats after a proper introduction, especially if they are respectful of her space and understand her gentle nature. This well-mannered girl is the complete package. She faithfully uses her litter box, prefers her scratching posts over furniture, and asks for very little beyond kindness, patience, and a comfortable place to call home. If you're looking for a quiet companion who will fill your home with gentle companionship rather than chaos, Posie may be the perfect match. She won't be the loudest cat in the room, but she just might become the one who quietly steals your heart. ❤️🐾
