Story
Charlotte was born last August to a family that didn’t give her much attention. Then she was brought to a local shelter where she was very scared. Since coming to The Cottage she has begun to feel comfortable. She likes her kitty friends and loves to be able to hang out in the catio. She has begun to trust people and likes pets. If interested in this kitty or and of our other cats please fill out an interest form at kittycottagesanctuary.org/adoptions-interest-formJune 12, 2025, 8:34 pm

Story
Luna was born on the college campus in Marshall, Minnesota just after Labor Day. Too young to make it through the winter! We rescued her and she was almost immediately tamed. She is smart, sweet, affectionate and playful, but shy. She has great situational awareness. Love cheese, milk, and Churro treats. She does not have any behavioral or health issues. She does not seek to go outdoors, but likes looking at the birds through the window. We have a quiet home, and don't know how well she would adapt to a noisier place or with young children.

Story
Jonny is a sweet guy. He loves lying in the sunshine and is super happy to have wet food two times a day. He is getting more comfortable with human attention. He likes to cuddle with his cousins. Jonny is from an owner surrender with 7 siblings. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners. I just joined my foster family and we are still getting acquainted with one another. Once they learn more about me, they will add more information here!

Good with cats,
Story
Destiny is equally parts independent and sassy. This queen of the castle is content to nap in a cozy spot, mosey over for her favorite treats, and overlook her dominion. Despite being a self assured lady, she does enjoy playing when she's feeling some whimsy. She takes some time to warm up to new feline friends, but love to wrestle with other cats once they get along. Destiny is looking for a patient home to help her feel safe and loved so she can be the happiest little kitty. Destiny is from a local rescue.
