Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Baby is a very sweet, low energy girl who likes to get lots of pets. If she wants some attention, a gentle nose nudge is her first way of showing you, and if that doesn't work, a tiny paw lightly touching your arm is another polite way to ask for pets. She does not use her claws when she asks, and she's fine walking away if you have other things to do.  Baby likes pets, but she does not like to be brushed. As an older gal, her fur is a little bit rough looking, but it's also pretty short so it doesn't bother her.   Baby also likes to play with a bit of fabric dangling off the end of a stick.   Baby is from an owner surrender with her sister. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Poppet is still a shy girl and will hide, but she loves to cuddle with her sisters. They go out of their way to go see her, almost like they are trying to reassure her. We will continue to update as we learn more about her. Poppet is a Stray Surrender from Nowthen, MN. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 14, 2025, 6:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hello to Mooch!!! Although you can call her whatever you like, because the only sound she responds to is the sound of food hitting her bowl!    Mooch came to us after her loving owner had to move into assisted living.   She is a sweet, sweet girl with giant paws and the softest coat!  She loves to play and can swipe her toys out of the air like a super cat ninja! Hi-ya!  Even though she came from a quiet home where she was the only pet,  she has settled right in with her foster family with loud teenagers and annoying doggies!  She doesn’t mind sharing her space with the pups, but she prefers the attention of humans!  She is always hanging around where the humans are, and likes snuggling on the couch or in bed at night.  Wherever there’s a human, she’ll be! Usually flopped on her side like she’s about to fall asleep,  right in the middle of the floor, on a couch, on a laptop…she’s comfortable anywhere! But if you stray too far she’ll find you…or start yelling for you!  Meow, meow ….. meeeeeeeeoooooooowwwwe!  Do you blame her?!?  It’s no fun to be alone!    She would love to find a home where she can keep a human friend company and have some kiddos to snuggle with and give her treats! Mooch is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Spot & Little Girl are local owner surrenders due to the owners passing and family is unable to continue care long term for them. Spot is white with calico spots female. She may do best with her 'sister' Little Girl as they have been together for years, but it is not a requirement. She does not like to be held but will sit on your lap. She is friendly. Loves to be brushed.  She may hide initally as she adjust to a new home. She is more dominant than that the other cats in the home but was able to integrate with 2 others over time that were younger than her.  They are  good with cat savvy dogs and she doesn't mind kids as long as they don't try to carry her around.  If she sounds like the purfect addition to your home, please apply online https://mattysheartandsoulanimalrescue.rescuegroups.org/ Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 14, 2025, 12:03 pm

Story
Meet Marianna – A Petite Sweetheart Ready for Her Happy Ending! Marianna is a gentle, affectionate little lady who’s ready to write the next chapter of her life with a loving family of her own. After raising her three adorable kittens with care and devotion, this petite beauty is finally ready to bask in the love and attention she so deserves. Marianna enjoys the simple pleasures in life—relaxing on the window ledge to watch the world go by is her favorite pastime. While she’s still learning to love the cat tree, her real joy comes from spending time with her people. Whether she’s curled up beside you or quietly keeping you company, Marianna’s sweet and calm nature makes her a perfect companion. She’s not too interested in toys just yet, but that could change once she has the chance to relax and enjoy being the center of attention. For now, she’s content with the love and comfort of her humans. If you’re looking for a gentle and loving friend to share your days with, Marianna is ready to fill your home with warmth and companionship. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please submit an Adoption Request Form. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about The Rescue Crew adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our Adoption Process page on our official website.  All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Application prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. For the most complete information regarding this animal, and all of our adoptable pets, please ensure you are visiting our website directly at www.RescueCrew.org. You can also access the necessary online adoption application here as well. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. ##2093364##
