About Me The Force is strong with this one. Ahsoka is a 1½-year-old girl who is intelligent, athletic, fearless—and definitely not interested in blindly following anyone else’s rules. Ahsoka is curious about absolutely everything, especially the things you’ve decided are none of her business. Try to keep her out of a room and you’ve essentially issued her a challenge. She’ll investigate, strategize, and maneuver until she finds her way in. Curiosity may have gotten the cat, but Ahsoka considers it more of a personal mission. She also takes her training seriously. Ahsoka is incredibly agile and quite accomplished on the cat exercise wheel. Whether she’s working on her Jedi reflexes or just getting her cardio in, this girl has some skills. Ahsoka generally gets along with other cats, but she has a confident personality and can have a bit of an attitude. With another female, she’d likely want to play the dominant role. A laid-back male who’s content to let Ahsoka believe she’s running the galaxy would probably make her best feline companion. Smart, sneaky, curious and endlessly entertaining, Ahsoka isn’t looking for someone to command her. She’s looking for a family smart enough to join her side. ---------- WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means most of our animals are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota. She is curious and loyal! She likes tall places to climb and view her world Text 763-438-9239 She is a busy and inquisitive girl! Does better as a one home cat.

Roux is about 11 years old! We have had her since she was 8 months old. She is a silly cat that loves attention! Shes always laying on our company and has to be around us pretty much at all times. She has been so loved and spoiled over the years but ever since we brought home our baby last March, she has been acting strange and doing things that are out of character, such as peeing on our rugs. We don’t know what else to do and feel she would be better off with another family that has more time for her and her needs. She’s so sweet and has lived with cats and dogs (we used to foster dogs) and she does great with all of them, unless they come after her, of course. It took us a long time to come to this decision but are at a loss. We truly hope we find a new home that will be better for her and whoever gets the opportunity to love her! Thanks for considering! 💜

Cali, aka Cali Alley Cat, aka Cali-fornia Pizza Kitchen, was found outside with her two siblings when they were just 3 weeks old (May 2025). Cali was (and still is) the bravest, most curious kitty of her siblings and the only one who likes to be pet. In fact, she likes it so much, she's begun demanding it with these short little quacking meows that won't stop until you give her an adequate amount of scritches. We've started calling it The Quack Attack. Though she is brave, Cali is still somewhat of a skittish cat, and is very scared of strangers. She will need lots of time to warm up to someone new but is surprisingly easy to win over with a good wand toy and ample amounts of play time. She will get along with other cats once the proper introductions are made. She eats both wet and dry food every day and loves Churus. She has only just lapsed on her vaccines (she received them last year in early October) but is otherwise a healthy (indoor only) cat!

Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

About Me Hello! I'm Ellie, a gentle senior lady who’s mastered the art of relaxation! I have a low-key vibe and a love of cozy naps. In fact, I'm happiest curled up in a soft spot or snuggled close for a cuddle—I'm a true professional when it comes to purring and making you feel loved! My favorite moments are mealtimes—I'm a big fan of soft food—and when I'm getting pampered with gentle brushing. I love brushing so much, I'll rub against the brush if the bristles are left up. I adore catnip toys and will happily lounge while you go about your day. But I'll run to the door when I hear you coming! I have limited sight, so I prefer calm environments and slow introductions to new people. I love humans, even though I hide from new ones. I'm sweet and affectionate with them, but I do like my space when it comes to other pets. I’ll let you know with a hiss if another animal gets too close... but I'm never aggressive! I wouldn't say I need to be an only pet... I just like to have a place to retreat. I've never been around dogs, though. Those are foreign to me. I'm also not a huge fan of young kids... too energetic for me. I am not litter box-trained: I don't remember to cover up after myself, so my litter box needs daily cleaning. I do use my scratching post, though. Also note that I'm managing kidney disease and arthritis, so I’ll need a little extra care and attention to keep comfortable. If you’re looking for a loving, low-energy companion who will fill your home with warmth and gentle purrs, then I'm ready to be your new best friend! I've captured the hearts of everyone at the shelter with my gentle, affectionate nature.  Apply to meet me and see if I'm the perfect fit for your heart and home! ---------- WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means most of our animals are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota. Pea | 8-year-old torbie | she/her | reformed grouch My foster mom was trying to work on my bio, but she was struggling to find just the right words to describe me. I told her to step aside — who better to tell you about me than yours truly. My name is Pea. My foster mom calls me Miss Pea, and I like it — I'll thank you to use it. I am an eight-year-old torbie, a lady of distinct taste, and until recently, as dramatic as a Bravo TV housewife. Here are the facts: I was surrendered to a shelter because I despised other cats. I'm not hiding it — it was a known fact about me. I sat in the shelter, miserable; my time was running out. I was exactly twenty-four hours from meeting my maker when (cue music) The Rescue Crew sprang me from the clutches of Hades. You might call it good timing. I call it my second act. Turns out, my legendary attitude had a perfectly good explanation. I was carrying some luxury weight, which put a strain on my bad knees and sore back. When every step hurts, you don't purr. You swat. I'm not making excuses. I'm providing context. There's a difference. Two months ago, I landed with a foster lady, and somewhere between the vet visit and the new food, I am getting back on track. I'm on a prescription diet that's actually working — I haven't been on the scale lately (a lady doesn't discuss numbers), but I feel lighter - and happier. I take a medication called Gabapentin to manage my knee pain until I drop 3–4 lbs. And I exercise — feather cardio (I swat a feather at the end of a plastic stick) and slow, deliberate laps from room to room. Yes, it counts. Do not minimize my effort. I feel better than I have in years. I'm still opinionated, mind you. But I'm a gentler kind of opinionated — a work in progress, if you will. My days now look like this: I have a safe room all to myself, I get to roam the house when my foster mom's cats are "spending the day" in the basement, I do my cardio, I nap, and I accept affection entirely on my own terms. I have actually tolerated encounters with one of the resident cats. It's a good life. I've earned it. I'm looking for a forever home who understands I’m getting better with age. I don't need other cats. I don't need chaos. I need consistency, a good food bowl, and someone who won't take it personally when I just need a minute. In return, I will be somewhat snuggly, quite talkative, and 100% hilarious. I was almost a cautionary tale — now I'm ready to be your most endearing, sometimes dramatic, companion. That's the deal. I promise I'm worth it. Pea is also part of our Respect Our Elders, seniors for seniors adoption program.  WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew is a foster-based rescue, which means most of our animals are cared for in homes throughout Minnesota.
