Hi, I’m Ryla.   I’m newer to the rescue and my foster home is still getting to know me. Feel free to submit an application if you might be interested since our approval process can take a couple days. Dog’s Name: Ryla Location: Waukesha, WI Age or Date of Birth: 06/01/2025 Gender: Female Breed: Cane Corso Color: Black Dog's Weight: 56lbs Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: All kids Training: Crate Trained - goes to crate/kennel on command Car - Rides well in the car Does great at the vet Meet Ryla! Ryla is a sweet girl who is very new to rescue and just beginning her journey in a foster home. As she settles in, her foster family is getting to know her personality, preferences, and routine. What we do know so far is that Ryla is taking everything in stride and deserves a patient, loving home where she can continue to decompress and thrive. What Ryla Needs in a Home: Patient, understanding adopters who are willing to give her time to adjust and show her true personality A calm, structured environment where she can feel safe and secure Adopters who understand that new dogs need time, consistency, and positive guidance Perfect Adopter:Because Ryla is still settling in, she would do best with adopters who have some dog experience—giant breed experience is a plus, but not required for the right family committed to learning. First-time giant breed owners may be considered if they are prepared to work with rescue guidance and training support. Other Dogs & Yard: We are still learning how Ryla does with other dogs; slow, thoughtful introductions will be important A fenced yard is recommended, especially while she is adjusting and learning her new routine, but this may change as we learn more about her needs Ryla’s story is still unfolding, and her foster family will continue to share updates as she shows us who she truly is. If you’re looking to open your heart and home to a dog who just needs a little time and understanding, Ryla may be the perfect match for you. Despite being 4 years old, he still has plenty of puppy energy and a youthful spirit. Tank is a classic Velcro dog—he wants nothing more than to be close to his people, especially the kids in the home. He knows his name and basic commands like sit and inside. While he may be a little skittish when meeting new people, he has an excellent judge of character and warms up quickly with patience and gentle interactions. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal, affectionate, and eager to please. Ideal Forever Home Tank would thrive in a home with kids, as they are truly his favorite people. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would benefit from a canine friend to help him burn off energy through play. Cats are not the best match for Tank—he may chase, so a no-cat home or one with older, calm cats would be ideal. A fenced yard would be wonderful for him to run and play safely, but it isn’t required. The most important things for Tank are companionship, structure, and a family who will give him the love and patience he deserves. *UTD/MICROCHIPPED/ ON MONTHLY FLEA AND TICK AND HEARTWORM PILL/SPAYED *good with cats *no kids under 12 ( she is very fast when she runs) *non- reactive dogs are best to pair her with *loves chew toys and tennis balls!! On Feb 08, 2024, Beauty was found wandering all alone in Sweetwater, TN near the dump by a Good Samaritan who posted on Facebook in a lost and found group but no one came forward to claim her. :( Our animal control officer, reached out to us for help with this situation and connected us with the finder. At the time, the Monroe County shelter was over capacity and euthanizing on intake. When she arrived at woofwoof fosters it appeared something strange was going on with her eyes. Turns out, she had a condition called Entropion which caused her eyelashes/eyelids to grow inwards! We scheduled her for surgery ASAP as this can lead to blindness if left untreated! Beauty has since recovered from surgery and is now ready for adoption! We have dog tested Beauty at our dog trainers place in Athens, TN and found out that she is good with non-reactive dogs ( we have been pairing her up with non- reactive dogs at our rescue for play) .She would do best in a home without young children as she has a LOT of energy, young kids could unknowingly get in her way. She loves to run and play and will require mental stimulation in her new home as well as frequent physical stimulation. We think some simple scent trail training or possibly snuffle mats may help meet her needs as she has a curious snout! Her most favorite toy is a tennis ball! if you have two, that would be great or else you WILL go through ALOT of them because she will chew them up right away! We are teaching her to bring it and leave it and wait for us to toss her second ball. sometimes, we will work with her on just one ball....but that is a lot more work vs having a second one ready haha! We do believe she is house broken as she has not made any messes in our home or the dog building. **We do offer foster to adopt to do a trail run** ( PLEASE ASK US FOR MORE INFORMATION AS WE TAILOR TO YOUR NEEDS/ REQUESTS AS NEEDED, THE BEST WE CAN) If you have any questions, please feel free to get ahold of us through here, or through our website at www.woofwooffosters.org . Thank you, woofwoof fosters -team This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Sam is a young adult with a heart full of love—he just takes a little time to show it. Found as a stray, Sam is still learning what it means to be a dog and would love a patient, kind person to help him discover how wonderful life can be. He may be cautious at first, but once he feels safe and trusts you, he transforms into the most loyal, playful, and affectionate friend you could ask for. He loves to play, enjoys cuddle time, and is eager to form a deep bond with someone special. Sam would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone who can offer patience and encouragement as he continues to build confidence. He loves other dogs and needs a home with a canine sibling! If you’re ready to guide him on his journey and gain a devoted best friend in return, Sam is waiting to meet you! **We did a DNA test on Sam and he is a mix of Neapolitan Mastiff, Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso, Rottweiler, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier... what a handsome mutt!

Alright, listen up...Mac Daddy just rolled in, and this dude is larger than life. We’re talkin’ big head, big heart, bigger personality. He’s that guy who walks down the block and everyone’s like, “Who’s that handsome fella?” Yeah… that’s Mac Daddy. Don’t let the size fool ya, though. He’s a certified gentle giant. Dog-friendly, social as they come, and workin’ every room. One tail wag and suddenly everybody’s his best friend. He’s the whole Chicago combo: tough look, soft center, and a charm level that’s straight-up legendary. Whether he’s struttin’ down the sidewalk like he owns the place or ploppin’ down for belly rubs, Mac Daddy’s just here to have a good time and make sure you are too. So if you’re lookin’ for a dog with swagger, charm, and a heart as big as the skyline then Mac Daddy is your boy. This kid’s the full package, no extra charge for the attitude. 🖤🐾

Elsa is the cutest little girl with the biggest heart. She absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily curl up with you whenever she gets the chance. True to her affectionate nature, Elsa follows her people everywhere and wants nothing more than to be your loyal sidekick and best buddy. She has been doing wonderfully with house training and is doing all her potties outside like a good girl. Elsa also rides great in the car, making her an excellent companion for errands, visits, or weekend adventures. While she doesn’t zoom around much, she walks nicely on a leash and is content staying close to her person. The Perfect Home for Elsa Elsa would be a great match for a first-time giant breed owner, as she has a gentle, easygoing personality and is eager to please. She does not require a fenced yard and would do just fine in a home that enjoys leash walks and quality time together. If there is another dog in the home, Elsa would likely do best with an older or calm canine companion who matches her relaxed energy. She would also thrive as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention from her humans. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate girl who wants to be by your side through it all, Elsa may be the perfect addition to your family. Hi, I’m Groot.   I’m not quite ready to be adopted, but you can come back here occasionally to check my progress and find out when to submit an application. Dog’s Name: Groot Location: Mokena, Il Age or Date of Birth: 12 Weeks Gender: Male Breed: Anatolian Shepherd / Bullmastiff / Great Pyrenees Color: Black & Tan Dog's Weight: 15 lbs Gets along with: Dogs?: All Dogs / None / Unknown Cats?:  Unknown Kids?: All kids Training: Leash trained: We're working on it Crate/Kennel:  We're working on it Potty trained: We're working on it Car:  Rides well in car, but should be harnessed for safety Meet Groot! Groot may be new to his foster home, but his sweet personality is already shining through. This young pup is the perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back charm. He loves to play and explore, then happily settles in to relax and enjoy some downtime. Mealtime is one of Groot’s favorite parts of the day! He goes right into his crate when he knows food is coming and does well being fed there. While he enjoys his meals, he sometimes saves a few kibble pieces to snack on later—just part of his easygoing personality. Groot sleeps soundly through the night and greets his foster mom each morning with excitement and tail wags. Groot has had no potty accidents in his crate, though he’s still learning the ropes with potty training overall. Since he’s still a baby, he’s eager to learn and will thrive with continued consistency and positive training. Groot will do well with just about any loving family who understands that puppies require time, patience, guidance, and lots of affection. A fenced yard would be ideal so he has a safe space to play and continue learning about the world. If you’re looking for a happy, loving puppy to grow with your family, Groot may be the perfect addition to your home!
