Story
Tobi was given to me when she was a few months old, born from an indoor/outdoor mother and unknown father. I've been able to take care of her up until now, but my senior dog plays too rough with her, and though she loves to be around him when he's calm, I can tell it's not fun for her at all when he's excited and in the mood to tussle. It also doesn't help that the other animals in my home (not mine) are hostile against her. More often than not, she is secluded in my space and only has the senior dog to interact with. I know Tobi deserves more than what I can give her. She is playful with the right companions, loves to snuggle up and sleep on people's chests and back, and if not that, to bask in the sun on the windowsill.

Story
We found two kittens when they were around 4-6 weeks old. We took them in and nursed them back to health. They are now around 8 months old. They are very sweet and playful and love to play with each other. They are extremely bonded, so would prefer to re home them together. We would love to keep them, but we are expecting baby number two and have our hands full with our toddler and dog. We think the cats would do better in a calmer home. They are still a little skittish when there is a lot of motion happening around them, which is hard with such an active family in a tiny home.

Story
Barney is warming up to the staff at Milo. He's soft hearted, shy and purrs when relaxed with you. He comes out to greet us and be pet then goes into his safe place. He smiles when knows he's loved (yes, he does) and will blossom with a chance to trust and be loved in a calm home. His best pal is cat Sweetie Sweetie at Milo. They often sleep close together inside a kitty condo. * * * Barney is kind of a shy boy, and needs time to trust, preferring to hang out with other cats (especially Sweetie Sweetie) more than humans. He hasn't had that much experience with humans. He was a stray that was taken in by a kind-hearted woman who loved cats, especially Barney. Unfortunately she was unable to keep Barney just when he was starting to come out of his shell. He's non-aggressive but still slightly scared and a bit standoffish. But if you give this little guy a chance to get comfortable with you, we believe Barney will blossom into a lovely cat. Barney would benefit from some one-on-one time with a kind, patient person.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Buster is a really lovely and sweet boy. At nearly 6 years old, Buster is a good mix of independent and social. Currently in a wonderful foster home, Buster is getting all the TLC he deserves. Once you bring Buster home, he'll be a little cautious but curious, so he'll explore every inch of your place. And he'll be somewhat slow to open up, but when he does, he's a real sweetheart. He likes attention, but he's not overly needy and he'll let you know when he's up for some loving and playing. He's no different than most cats in that regard:). He also loves being perched near a window and watching everything in his visual path. And after he's had that adventure, he's always up for chomping on a little kitty grass. Buster needs an experienced cat person. He also needs to be your one and only pet and would be best in a more quiet home without young kids. Buster also needs to stay on a prescription urinary diet (wet food) to prevent bladder stones and get regular health checks for some of his medical issues. He's a really sweet, sensitive and unique cat and adored by all who meet him. So we hope you'll want to meet him and see for yourself if he's a fit for you. If you want to meet this handsome guy with the beautiful pale green eyes and the softest coat, then please fill out an adoption application which gets you one step closer to a meet and greet.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hera is a cat with two speeds: Playing and chilling. She is still young and although shy at first, will bond quickly and set up her own routine. She's affectionate and sweet, loves pets and being really close to her people. She'll tell you about her day and will listen to your updates. If you're looking for a solid companion - Hera could be your girl. Like many cats, it will take Hera several weeks to be comfortable in a new environment and will require the adopter to have patience with this process. After raising her kittens, Hera is engaged in exploration and her favorite pastimes - hunting and catching toys, chasing her tail, and sleeping for several hours in her hideout. She's very quick to purr as soon as a human enters her space and is eager to check-in with some chirps and meows. Getting neck scratches is a prized pastime. Hera is used to being in a multi-cat household and should get along well with other cats and cat-savvy dogs. If you'd like to meet Hera, please fill out an adoption application which gets you one step closer to a meet and greet.
