Story

Buttons is about 13 years old. She is quirky but sweet, & can be affectionate. Her purrs are loud but therapeutic. I found Buttons in my old neighborhood. One day I saw a group of young boys huddling around, laughing. I had a feeling they were up to no good. I walked over & found her in the middle of them. She looked terrified. I had the boys leave immediately & Buttons ran off. Shortly after that she paid me a visit, & from there she began visiting me regularly & I began feeding her. Fast forward to 3 years I had to move out & I decided to bring her w/ me due to danger outside from kids & other cats (she got injured a couple of times) Im looking for a new home for her due to my health issues & cut hours from work. She is very vocal & my new neighbors filed complaints because of that. This is very difficult to even think of letting her go but I cant keep her for very long unfortunately. I am so devastated about this. I hope to keep in touch w/ the new owners & help.

Hi, my name is Sammy. I am a healthy 20-month-old short-haired Torbie girl who craves love and attention. My mom was a feral and my siblings and I were rescued and socialized after we were born. I am shy and timid at first so please be very patient and once you earn my trust, I'll be your BFF. I'm playful, litterbox trained, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed, not a picky eater and will snuggle next to you in bed. My fur is very soft and I LOVE to be brushed. Hi, I'm Tabitha, (Sammy's sister). I am a medium-haired tabby Beauty Queen who is playful, curious, friendly and will tug on your heartstrings. I'm as graceful as a gazelle, will plop on your lap or next to you in bed so you can rub my tummy. I love to be brushed, especially my beautiful tail. We were so lucky to have been rescued from the outdoors so we can enjoy indoor life. Ideally, we would like to go to our furrever home together but we can be separated. Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 13 year old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I like sleeping on a human’s bed. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I'm learning that getting people pets are great and I'm starting to ask for them more and more. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention. I am an active and incredibly smart girl, but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. She is entertaining and independent. If you don’t have time to play with her, she will find a toy and play by herself in a way that is bound to make you laugh. She is easygoing and lively. Sometimes she sleeps on her pillow the whole afternoon, but when she’s ready to play, she plays with all her might! Dory is fostered in Belmont. We adopt kittens in pairs unless you have another young kitty at home. They need a feline playmate to play, wrestle, groom and sleep with them.
