Story
Jax (full name Car Jack) was found at a car mechanic shop at 3 months old living in a stack of spare tires with his brothers and sisters. Unlike his siblings he was very weak and didn't run when approached. He was scooped up to get veterinary care and is now a healthy, happy, playful boy ready for his forever home.A year old, Jax is energetic and a total Ham. Will perform parkour off surfaces. Will roll over to show his belly when called out on mischief.Highly food motivated. Silly. LOVES to play and has so much energy. He doesn't like to cuddle often, but is extremely gentle when asking for freedom with little meows and licks while he squirms. Jax would thrive in a place with space for him to dart around with his zoomies, preferably with kids or adults or a fellow cat who enjoy playing to keep up with his energy. A loving, energetic home would be great for him.He comes with his water fountain, cat tree, and favorite toys if wanted by new family.

Story
Hey there friends, my name is Gary! I am a 2 year old, neutered male, brown tabby, domestic shorthair cat. I'm on the larger size so be prepared for lots of full body affection! Let's see, what can I share about myself? Well for starters, I'm super handsome, but that much is obvious. Though alongside being a stud, I'm also a super affectionate guy who loves seeking attention from anyone I meet! I get comfortable easily. In fact, you'll probably find me rolling on my back right in front of you for tummy rubs which I just can't get enough of. Overall, I would say I'm a big guy with a big, warm personality who is ready to find my forever person to share all of this love with. If you think you might be that person, come down to the shelter and ask for more information about me. I'll be waiting!- Gary ID#A0992680Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Hello everyone, my name is Walda. I'm a 1 year old, spayed female, gray tabby. I'm a sweet, yet sensitive girl that can be a bit nervous in new surroundings. Since loud noises or fast movements can spook me, I would do best in a quiet household with cat-savvy teenagers or adults, who understand to give me some time and space to come out of my shell and get used to everything. Once I get to know you a little bit better, I'm such a love bug! I love getting and giving affection and will be your best friend! Did I also tell you that my fur is super soft?! If you're looking for an oh so sweet girl that wants allll the cuddles, come on over and ask for me! Story
Bonded pair! Two for one special! Hi there, my name is Ebony! I am a 1 year old, spayed female, small-sized, domestic shorthair, brown tabby. I'm looking for my forever home with my brother and bestie, Sukkar. I'm a shyer girl who is still finding my way in this big, beautiful world. I'm a gentle soul who just needs some time to adjust to new surroundings and people. One thing I love to do that puts me at ease is perching up next to a window where I can observe and take in the loud and big sights of the world from afar. The sun shining on my face doesn't hurt either! I also have a playful side that comes out from time to time and will probably grow as I spend more time with you. Wand toys and lasers are my toys of choice; I'm a classic girl at the end of the day! And of course, I enjoy head and cheek rubs as I get to know you more. With all of this being said, I'd appreciate going to a family that has some experience with more introverted cats and if kids are present, teenagers and above only. I would do best with a family who can dedicate time and patience to helping me continue to come out of my shell. There's still so much to learn and be and I'm sure you can help me get there. :)- ID#A0986880 Hi everyone, my name is Sukkar! I am also a 1 year old, neutered male, small-sized domestic shorthair, brown tabby. I'm a two for one deal so wherever I'm going, it'll be with my sister, Ebony! I'm also a timid guy and get a bit nervous when meeting new people or being in new environments. Though with time and patience, I'm hoping to grow out of this and become a more confident cat. One fun fact about me is that I'm quite the playful dude and love spending time with wand and feather toys that make me the ultimate parkour master! I'm also an avid lover of Churu treats (who isn't?) that help me feel more comfortable around you for gentle head pets and rubs. The stomach truly is the way to a guy's heart! I'd really appreciate going to a family who is committed to slow and steady work so I can thrive in life with you. Teens and above only please. :)- ID#A0986879  Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Hi there, my name is Morticia! I am a 2 year old, spayed female, small-sized, black and white, domestic shorthair kitty cat. I'm a shy sweetheart who is looking for her forever family to grow and thrive with. I'm currently still adjusting to my surroundings, but it's nothing a little time can't fix. I'm a friendly and kindhearted girl who needs some time to warm up to people, taking things one step at a time. A box, towel donut or cat igloo is my safe space so I would love to have my own nook in my future home as a place to retreat to whenever I need some alone time. I would appreciate going to a home that values slow and steady beginnings and is willing to be patient with me as we get to know each other and bond over our new life together. If this sounds like you, come on down shelter and ask for more information about me. I'm looking forward to meeting you.- Morticia ID#A0992064Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by. Story
Good day folks, my name is Petunia! I am a 6 year old, neutered male, small-sized, black and white, domestic shorthair cat. That's right, I'm a boy! A gentleman, if you will. You can also call me Tuny or Tunia for short. I'm a friendly and affectionate guy who enjoys people and pets. I start out a bit subdued in an initial meeting, but it's all part of my routine. Smell the hand, do a little dance around it, then lean in for endless pets, specifically chin scratches! After that, you'll find me approaching you seeking out more attention. I'm a lightly vocal guy with a playful spark that shows up once I'm comfortable. A couple important things to know about me are that I can sometimes get overstimulated and do better with people than cats (I'd rather be hangin' with you!). So while I do love lap time, I appreciate it being on my own terms. I should also be the only cat in my future forever humble abode. A family with ample previous cat experience. But that just means more on-on-one bonding and cuddle time for us! If you think we could create this dream life together, come on down to the shelter and ask for more information about me. See you soon!- Petunia ID#A0994370Unless otherwise indicated, adoptable animals are located at our Lantos Center for Compassion at 1450 Rollins Road, Burlingame, CA 94010.  You may call us at 650-340-7022 to schedule an appointment, or just drop by.
