She and I are very deeply bonded, as we have spent our whole lives together. Meet Penny the sun goddess! I’m a pretty 15-year-old Calico with the most beautiful green eyes. I was born near Serramonte Ford in Colma, I was rescued with my mom and sister in 2011 who were adopted long ago. I’m a good girl, I use the litter box, and the scratching post. I do like to be petted-but on My terms. I spend my day at the center looking for the sun, I love basking and sleeping in the sunshine (the volunteers say I run on solar power) but am happy when the volunteers come in to give me attention and do like to be doted on. I am an active and incredibly smart girl but can also be quite independent. I need an experienced cat owner (I tend to favor Men) who will give me the time and patience to help adjust to a new home. I maybe alright with children 12 and over that understand the ways of cats. I prefer to be the only cat in the household.
