These two darling, orange tabby tigers are available for adoption as a pair! Early April, we discovered a cat had five kittens under our deck. We have been fostering mama cat and all five babies. These kittens are a ton of fun! They have such playful energy, romping and jumping all around, they make us laugh all the time. They are also sweet and mellow, loving to cuddle together when they sleep. The one we call Orange Cream, is orange and has a white swirl on his back. He's the friendlier, more outgoing of the two kittens. We call the other, predominantly orange kitten, Tough Nut because he's a little shy and tough to engage. But he sure gets crazy when playing with a feather toy, and then he forgets to be shy, sidles up next to you for comfort. Adopt these cuties if you want more joy and laughter in your life!

Story

In early March, a lovely calico cat appeared in the neighborhood. She was very sweet and friendly, right from the start. She was quite thin and was desperately hungry, so several neighbors began feeding her. In early April, two little kitten heads popped up from under our deck. Apparently, she had five kittens around the time she appeared in early March. Since then, we've fostered her, and her kittens indoors, and have placed almost all the kittens in their forever homes. Mama cat needs a loving, indoor home with no other pets (the reason we can't keep her). She may be more aggressive now because she's been protecting her kittens, so she may mellow soon with other animals.She's super affectionate and loving, and we absolutely adore her! Anyone would be lucky to adopt her!

Rhiannon (aka Rhi-Rhi aka Little Lion) is a special cat looking for a calm home to spend the rest of her days. She loves to give gentle face sniffs, get a good brushing, and of course receive some good chin and ear scratches. Her two absolute favorite things in the world are lounging in afternoon sunny spots and her crinkled paper ball. Rhiannon spends most of the day dozing, but as soon as she hears the rustle of her paper ball she is at the ready to play a very slow game of fetch. She truly carries one of her many crinkled balls with her everywhere she goes and back to her bed before snuggling up to nap again. She also loves to stand on her hind-legs at the window and chirp at the birds! While Rhiannon still has a playful side, she is arthritic and a bit wobbly when she moves around. She takes 3 medications daily mixed into wet food (no fuss). She would do best in a home without other pets or very young children. (She has lived with another cat successfully while in the shelter, but she has not befriended her foster’s cats.) She’s made great progress in her foster home, opening up to receiving pets and being brushed, but she can still startle easily. She would benefit from living with someone who can read cat body language well and provide her space when requested. She will do best in a calm home with children.over 10 years old.
