I like other cats, people don't bother me so long as they're at a distance. I am playful and fun, just not used to being pet or handled. I will walk to the couch, stop 3 feet away and wait for my treat. I will come take it from your hand. I will interact with toys and cats. My foster house has multiple cats so I would benefit from more one on one time with both my new people and a cat friend. I used to zoom with my brother before he was adopted.   I am looking for a cat experienced home that has patience and will let me acclimate to my new surroundings at my own pace, but will also challenge me to be more social once I'm comfortable in the house. MEET MR SPECKLES! Approximately one year old male and such a sweetheart. Speckles is fully vetted, neutered and given flea meds. He is socialized and is fostered in a house with dogs, cats and small children. He is an alpha with a funny personality who loves to play but then snuggles for love and cuddles. The ultimate lover. He gets along with everyone! His favorite toy is his ball and he chases it in and out of the cat tunnel with his mates. He will thrive in a home with other cats or solo. He is very cuddly and likes to sleep at the foot of the bed. He kneads and purrs and is just a lovely companion. He would be fantastic with a family or just someone who wants a furry friend. Mr Speckles will need to be microchipped.

My name is Cobie and I have had an amazing life and now I deserve the chance to have a restful and safe rest of my life in a home as a beloved queen. I had a partial lung lobectomy as an 11-month-old kitten (due to severe illness)! After being adopted out, I somehow ended up on the street, but lucky me, I ended up in a trailer park and being cared for by a wonderful man for many years until he passed away. Unfortunately, that environment was no longer safe for me, so the son of my caretaker found CARMA and made sure I was safe for the rest of my life. I have a wonderful husky low mew to get your attention if I feel I’ve been left alone for too long, but mostly I just like to relax and nap. I love looking out the window, and prefer to rest in cubbies or boxes given the option. I love to be brushed and petted and told what a beautiful precious girl I am. I don’t like to be picked up but if you are patient with me, I will give you my trust and love.
