Story
In July of 2025 LAS took a call about a kitten in the street by a local restaurant in the community. As It turns out - there is never just 1 - sadly. The area is very busy and has a lot of traffic and the kittens would have faced a horrible outcome. LAS captured all of the kittens and we worked with these babies to socialize them and they are now ready for their forever homes!! Four Boys !!! Approximate DOB is 6/8/2025. All 4 are current on their vaccines and have been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and are Negative. They are: Hugo- (M) SH Brown Tabby Hayden- (M) SH Brown Tabby Henley - (M) SH Black Hogan - (M) SH Brown Tabby They are all doing very well and are sweet and healthy and playful. They are social once they know you and feel safe! A bit shy at first until you hold them and they know you!! Just some time and love!! They are certainly busy and all come to you for attention to get to you for treats and petting !!! They are ready for their forever homes - as singles, or together with another if you are looking for more than one!! Each would do well in a safe and kind home with a family that has love to give. They will need time to adjust to a new family and no small children and slow introductions to other pets. Doubt that they would do well with dogs. If you’d like to meet any of "the boys" or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website: www.loveastraycat.com.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained,
Story
We got Nyx from a family member around 2 years ago. She is somewhere in the ballpark of 2 1/2 - 3 years old. She can be a sweet girl but doesnt do well with children and often hisses/scratches at our 8 year old. We are looking to find someone that doesnt have kids, possibly someone older who is at home a lot as she likes to sit on your lap. With her long hair she does tend to have a lot of hairballs. We have tried a lot of things to mitigate this but nothing has worked and she ends up throwing up a lot. It&s difficult for us to keep up with this situation due to our busy schedules. We live in an apartment building and have made a lot of efforts to treat but as we cat clean the entire building fleas have been an issue for her. She has several spots where theyve bitten at her despite deep cleaning/flea drops/bathing. Due to this I think it would be ideal to have a standalone home for her and not a multiple dwelling unit. She has been an indoor cat all her life but loves windows.

Story
Edgar and Allan are a pair of deeply bonded 6-year-old brothers. The boys have very developed, very distinct personalities, but it can take a while for other people to see that because they can be shy with new people. Allan brings the energy to the unit, and Edgar is just a sleepy little guy. Edgar & Allan thrive on routine! They are sensitive but adaptable to change as long as there is consistency. They are very comfortable with other cats and are quite social once past the proper introductions phase. But as long as they have each other, they will not get lonely. They come from a quiet, routine home, and playtime is only the thing in between chill naps and cuddles. They do love toys, interactive play, catnip, etc. though. Even though they are an independent pair, they must be around someone who can meet their emotional needs by giving them plenty of care and attention. Separating them is not an option. No exceptions.
