Story
Toto (Tobias or Toby) stumbled through my chainlink fence as a little kitten- 2 years ago. He had several injuries, including puncture wounds in his head and right eye. I took him to my vet (Wadsworth Vet Hospital) and they thought he was about six weeks old. I was not able to locate a mother and we think she may have been killed by a predator at the same time Toby was injured. His right eye could not be saved and was removed at the same time he was neutered and given shots. He had all of his kitten shots, but despite being cuddled, he does not want to be handled. He is extremely skittish and while liking to be pet by me at times, he is not friendly to others. He acted very fearful and I don't know why. He has the run of the house but prefers to live on my large back porch nearly all the time. I bought him a heated cat house because he wouldn't come in during the cold weather. I can not pick him up without being attacked and haven't been able to get him into a carrier for sho

Story
Domino is a small timid cat that we’ve had for around 4 years. She enjoys being around her caretakers either on their lap or close by. Has been with other cats but not many. She keeps to her own sometimes and voices when she wants something like food or water. Used to sleep on or near me most nights but now we can’t have her in our bed as we have a small baby now. She doesn’t seem to notice the baby but will allow to be petted by our baby whenever near.Unsure why but she tends to leave hair around even after extensive brushing. She also has been caught eating bread left on a counter so I’ve been mindful to put things she might be curious about up and away.

Story
Hi, my name is Ignacio Daniel, I am 9 months old My parents adopted me from a house where a woman found us in the street. They say I was born on August 15, 2025. I like to play hide-and-seek. I like to eat and sleep, I'm curious; when my parents come home from shopping, I have to inspect what they bought. I get along well with my older brother, Bugsy, an English Bulldog. I'm up to date on my vaccinations and I'm also neutered.

Story
DJ and his sister were born about 4 years ago in my backyard to a feral mother. Once she had weened them I caught them both in a humane trap, had them neutered, chipped and given all their kitten shots. DJ made it clear he did not want to live in the house all the time and goes in and out by asking. He refuses to be picked up, held and won't jump in my lap. He only likes to be pet on his terms (mostly while given meals). He does bring presents (dead mice) from his patrols. I think he would enjoy being a barn cat since he spends little time in the house. I am moving and cannot take all of my 4 cats with me (only 2). He is healthy but not up to date on his shots as he refuses to get in a carrier.

Story
Meet: Uncle Jim Biscuit; a roughly 2 year old domestic medium-haired cat that would thrive with an experienced cat owner in a hybrid indoor/outdoor environment. He found his way to us late October 2025 and over the following weeks got a full tune up- vet exam with Leukemia/FIV testing (negative/negative) and core vaccinations, fecal sample, de-wormed, flea & tick removal, neutered, and chipped. A regular diet has allowed him to gain 2-3 lbs since transitioning indoor. Uncle Jim is EXTREMELY affectionate. He loves snuggling up with you and will cuddle for hours! Move cautiously and he will also allow you to pick him up. He loves to play and always has an appetite for treats. He will sing to you as you prepare his dinner. He is not the best climber/jumper - much more of a “ground cat” versus “tree cat”. Quite clunky. But so cute. We’ve had zero issues with him scratching our furniture. PLEASE NOTE: While he’s adjusted to our first cat very well and plays often with him, we believe uncle Jim may thrive more in a single cat home. Being an outdoor cat for however long he was, he has a strong habit of marking. This improved immensely when he was neutered but unfortunately he is still marking around our home. While it’s significantly reduced over time and the spots are small, despite our best efforts it is not something we have been successful at correcting and feel he’s missing his outside world. We also have not been successful at trimming his nails. He’s gotten better at letting us manipulate his paws but it’s a very long, slow road ahead. The vet noted he had a slight heart murmur and rated it a “2/6”. ***UNCLE JIM BISCUIT IS WITH HIS FINDERS IN WILLOWICK,OHIO. His potential adopters will be screened by someone from the rescue, after the approval process you will be put in touch with his finders to schedule a meet and greet in order to adopt. While this is a courtesy posting for the finders, any adopter will always be able to reach back out to the finders or rescue member they speak with for any help- including the return of Uncle Jim Biscuit (if unfortunately necessary). His adoption fee is $75. LINK TO ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/242326102430137
