Story
Jake is 1/2 rag doll and very sweet and affectionate. He loves dogs and kids and we joke that he is part dog because he loves really rough belly scratches. Jake does okay with other cats but would prefer to be the only cat which is why he needs a new home where he is less stressed. He’s 95% indoors but likes to wander outside on nice days for a bit. We are not asking an adoption fee. This is very hard for us as we love him so much but our older kitty comes first. He comes with a cat litter box.

Story
Hi my name is Edna Mode! Life at the shelter is quite fascinating, you know. I've had my share of adventures, especially with my 5 little ones. They keep me on my toes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm a bit of a shy gal, preferring quiet corners and gentle touches. But don't let that fool you. I'm brave and independent too. I've got a mind of my own, and I'm not afraid to show it. I can be a little sassy when the mood strikes, but I'm also very sweet. I've got a lot of love to give, and I'm smart enough to know when I've found a good thing. So, why should you adopt me? Well, if you're looking for a companion who's got a little bit of everything - bravery, independence, sweetness, sassiness, and intelligence - then I'm your gal. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had.If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 6pm,(summer hours). If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Independence is my second name, I can entertain myself for hours. But, I also appreciate gentle strokes and warm laps. I may take a moment to warm up to you, but once I do, I promise to be your loyal companion. I'm not just a cat, I'm a friend, a confidante, a soothing purr on a tough day. Adopt me and let's create our own cozy world together. If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 6pm,(summer hours). If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Story
Hi, this is Zeus! He is a male, Siamese, long hair cat. He is two years old, born in October and he is a sweet boy. Zeus is extremely curious, he is playful, full of energy and mischievous at times. He is neutered and has all his shots. We are rehoming him because he does not get along with our other pets. He is a great cat if he is adopted into a home with no kids and no other pets. Preferably an experienced cat owner will adopt him.
