Story
George is an very energetic cat who loves to play. He is an indoor/outdoor cat and after moving i have been unable to let him outside. My new job has me working long hours, so I do not have the time to play with George and keep him stimulated so i must give him up so he can have a better life. He likes to play rough if you play with your hand. He will work up to it but know what you're getting into. Feather toys are his favorite toys. He loves to hunt and stalk, he'll jump out and grab your leg to try and get you to play. He isn't big on being picked up but loves to sleep between your legs. He is a sweet cat that needs a playful sibling or access to outdoors.

Story
This is Mr.Pepper. He's the most lovable cat you'll ever meet. Pepper is an 8 year old Chocolate Lynx Point Ragdoll with a friendly personality who has lived with kids, other cats and dogs throughout his life. He's not a huge fan if dogs, but tolerant as long the dog is respectful.  Although he looks angry, he's really just a silly lover at heart. He's a big cat, but when he hears his food hitting the dish, he runs like a bat out of hell. What he loves: - endlessly petting him - being held - joining in with everything you're doing - laying in the sun.  What he dislikes: - being told where not to go - not being the center of attention - car rides Why I'm re-homing him: I got him about a year ago just as my job started making me travel A LOT. He really needs someone around consistently that can give him the attention he deserves. It's taken this long to make the hard decision but he will be a great cat for person or family. Mr. Pepper lives in Portland and is indoor only.  His rehoming fee is $50 For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the current owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 11, 2026, 4:34 am

Story
We welcomed Elessar into our home in 2019, and he quickly showed us just how special indoor cats can be. Hand-raised from a young age, he’s always been a little… different—in the best way. He often feels more like an awkward, endearing little kid than a cat, and his quirky personality keeps us smiling every day. Elessar is a reserved 7 year old adult male goof who enjoys being near his people while still maintaining an air of independence. He’ll quietly “chat” with you throughout the day and likes to keep you company on his own terms. But come bedtime, all that aloofness disappears—he becomes a dedicated cuddle companion, often curling up near your head to keep you warm through the night. Playtime is one of his favorite things, especially anything involving a laser pointer—he was made for it! Once he trusts you, he shows off some classic ragdoll-like traits. While he doesn’t seek out being held for long, he tolerates it well and is very cooperative with gentle handling for grooming and care (like nail trims or the occasional cleanup). One of Elessar’s greatest joys is supervised outdoor time. In a safely enclosed space, he loves to explore, sniff, and take in the world. A home with a secure yard or a catio would be an absolute dream for him. Elessar would do best in a calm, understanding home. He could thrive with older, cat-savvy children who know how to respect his space and independence. However, a home with young children would likely be too stressful for him over time. He is up to date on his long-term vaccinations. Since he has been strictly indoor-only, his annual boosters are currently overdue, but he has otherwise been well cared for.  Elessar is indoor only and lives in Salem with his owner.  His rehoming fee is $100.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Midnight was left in the woods along with the rest of his litter and fortunately they were found by a kind couple clearning land and the siblings were brought to a vet (thankfully they are fine!) and brought to a foster home in Beaverton.  This litter consists of Richie, Trixi and Lynx and Midnight would do best being adopted with a buddy or to a family with another friendly cat to play with. Midnight has faint tabby stripes that are visible when he is in the sunlight but otherwise he is black solid color.  This little boy has the loudest purr motor and you just look at him and it starts up.  Playful, gentle and soft to touch, this little boy will warm your heart and your lap!  Midnight's adoption fee is $200 (or a pair for $300) and he is indoor only. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Here are Grace's adorable and sweet babies.  CODY- Brother- Long hair White & Orange, JAKE - Brother- Long hair White & Orange, RUSTY- Brother- Medium hair Orange tabby, SMUDGE- Sister- Medium hair- White and black.  Rusty is also listed with his mom as he would like to be adopted with her if he is not adopted with one of his siblings. He is a total momma's boy. These babies love to run around with their play buddies. They love attention and are social babies. They each have their own personalities of course. They like different things, but play, explore and snuggle together. It would be wonderful if they could be adopted as pairs or into a home with another young feline buddy. They have done well in their foster home with pre-teen kids who are gentle. They have been around other friendly cats in their foster home and do not seem to be bothered. Quite comfortable kitties when they feel at home or have a buddy. They are indoor only please. Please consider pairs. Story
Rice (3 years) and Mustard(2 years) are two sweet boys looking for a calm, loving home where they can stay together. Rice is a gentle, affectionate Flame Point Siamese mix with a soft raspy voice and beautiful blue eyes. Once he gets to know you, he will quietly “ask” for attention and insists on getting his fair share of pets before he’ll even consider eating. When he feels especially loved, Rice does the sweetest little “coo” while rubbing his face against you. He is truly one of the most loving cats you could ever meet and would make an incredibly devoted companion. Mustard, his younger “brother,” is the playful comedian of the pair. He loves feather toys, sparkly balls, and even chasing light reflections. This little entertainer will greet you with dramatic belly flops, loud purrs, and endless affection. He’s well-mannered, uses his litter box perfectly, and brings joy and laughter wherever he goes. Like Rice, Mustard was rescued from the same difficult environment in February and both can be startled by loud noises. He, too, would thrive in a peaceful adult home.  Since being rescued from a domestic violence household they have been learning that the world can be safe and kind. These boys are deeply attached to one another—snuggling together throughout the day, grooming each other, and finding comfort in their bond and we would love to see them adopted together.  $300 for the pair adoption.  UTD with medical care.  These rescued boys live in Hillsboro with their guardians and their adoption fee is $300 for the pair.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
