Story
Koopa is a little over 2 years old. We adopted him from a shelter and unfortunately despite our attempts he has not gotten along with our senior cat. She is a lot lower energy than him and he tries to play with her a lot and she can’t reciprocate his energy, causing her a lot of stress. He is super affectionate with us and likes to cuddle, and has been really gentle and sweet with our 8 month old baby. He would do well in a home with no other cats, or one that is of similar age and energy level. He needs someone to give him a lot of attention and play time.

Story
Biggie Fluff (who I call Fluffy) is an adult Maine Coon who was rescued as a kitten. I recently went through a separation, downsized to a two-bedroom apartment, and was diagnosed with multiple health conditions, making it very sad for me to find her a new home where she can get the attention she needs.I am:• Snuggly, cuddly, and sweet• Energetic but also a "dainty lady"• Soft-spoken and gentle• Good with other cats• Litter box trained and spayedFluffy loves to snuggle and lay on your chest. She is a little skittish around a lot of activity and can get scared of "hyper" energy, so she prefers a calm environment. She loves babies and small children if they are gentle, but she usually hides from my more active four-year-old. She is very sweet and needs a home where people are around to give her the attention she loves!💰 Rehoming fee: $100Includes: small kennel, food, litter, litter box, toys

Story
Located South Beaverton/South Hillsboro/Sherwood Oregon area (Originally from Wood Village/NE Portland OR) BIG BOY, HEALTHY, 18 months old, 15 pounds of muscle, Neutered, Tested, Vaccinated, Microchipped LITER BOX PERFECT.  Ignored chickens near his old home. Many people kept 4 hens. PLEASE SHARE TO ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE MANGO A WORKING CAT HOME OR A HOME. PLS. Been housed inside with many other cats, but he stays to himself.  Mango would be ok with a couple other respectful pets inside or would be happy to go out and get back to being the amazing ratter and mouser he is.  MANGO is a working cat. (Not a pet.) (Not evil or anything, but not human social, except for feeding time.) Mango NEEDS to be someone’s special project, OR … A NEW WORKING CAT (barn cat/yard cat/shop cat) HOME. From foster mom: I love this huge orange fellow!  The feeling isn’t mutual.  He is simply stunning in his dark burnt orange red tiger coat and his eyes !!! His eyes are purple, green, yellow, and blue!  He backs away when even my 1/3 his size girl comes to be social and share his food.  He has perfected the I hate you glare and she gets it often. Doesn’t stop her and he just looks miserable while the other cats in the house are being social. Frankly, my home is just too active. Mango wants to go back to his hunting outside life, or at least a life where a couple hyperactive young cats don't bounce off of him while playing. I know it’s time to respect his choice, but I’d surely love it if he became a hybrid project cat or cherished outdoor working cat. HE WOULD PREFER TO BE HUNTING RODENTS. I’d let him be my outside cat  but I'm practically wilderness area. I've got a bobcat on the property and a 20+ strong pack of coyotes through often. Mango knows streets and fields not farmland and wilderness. I doubt he has ever seen an eagle and I’ve got many! He needs a more neighborhood kind of place.  MANGO (working cat)- RODENT HUNTER - SEEKS NEW Employment/Home  Former area: Residential with small stores type area. (Not countryside) STREET SMART  Q. Why is he not returned to where he very clearly was a very successful hunter? A. Nasty neighbor, who hates cats, intended to end him! He can't go back. Fostersaveslives@outlook.com Summer 2026. Within about 1 hour drive of Hillsboro/Portland Oregon. $25 rehoming fee includes loan of setup for acclimatization. FYI - Mango is liter box perfect.  If anyone wants to make a special project out of Mango please contact me.  A calm environment would be required! Fostersaveslives@outlook.com F.O.S.T.E.R., INC. is a small foster-based rescue. All our cats come with costly services already provided, which may include, where appropriate, inoculations, veterinary care, testing, spay/neuter, microchips etc... Story
We welcomed Elessar into our home in 2019, and he quickly showed us just how special indoor cats can be. Hand-raised from a young age, he’s always been a little… different—in the best way. He often feels more like an awkward, endearing little kid than a cat, and his quirky personality keeps us smiling every day. Elessar is a reserved 7 year old adult male goof who enjoys being near his people while still maintaining an air of independence. He’ll quietly “chat” with you throughout the day and likes to keep you company on his own terms. But come bedtime, all that aloofness disappears—he becomes a dedicated cuddle companion, often curling up near your head to keep you warm through the night. Playtime is one of his favorite things, especially anything involving a laser pointer—he was made for it! Once he trusts you, he shows off some classic ragdoll-like traits. While he doesn’t seek out being held for long, he tolerates it well and is very cooperative with gentle handling for grooming and care (like nail trims or the occasional cleanup). One of Elessar’s greatest joys is supervised outdoor time. In a safely enclosed space, he loves to explore, sniff, and take in the world. A home with a secure yard or a catio would be an absolute dream for him. Elessar would do best in a calm, understanding home. He could thrive with older, cat-savvy children who know how to respect his space and independence. However, a home with young children would likely be too stressful for him over time. He is up to date on his long-term vaccinations. Since he has been strictly indoor-only, his annual boosters are currently overdue, but he has otherwise been well cared for.  Elessar is indoor only and lives in Salem with his owner.  His rehoming fee is $100.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. Story
We are looking for the right home for our sweet cat, Lennon. He is roughly 3 years old and is a very large, fluffy, silly boy with lots of personality. He can be a bit skittish and is easily overwhelmed by other pets, young children, loud noises, and busy environments. We have two young children and have spent the past couple of years trying to help Lennon feel comfortable in our home, but unfortunately our house is simply a little too busy and chaotic for him to ever fully relax. He spends much of his day tucked away in our bedroom where things are quieter. With the adults he knows and trusts, Lennon is incredibly loving and affectionate. He cuddles with us every single night, is very talkative, loves having his belly scratched, and has such a funny, goofy personality once he feels safe. Lennon can also be scared and hesitant around new people, so we are specifically looking for someone who understands that gaining his trust may take some time. He needs a patient person who is willing to let him adjust at his own pace and put in the time to build a trusting relationship with him. Once that trust is there, he is such a sweet and loving companion. We would love to find him a calm, loving home where he can be the only pet and where there are no young children. We truly believe that with a quieter environment and someone willing to give him the patience and security he needs, Lennon could finally feel completely at ease and really thrive. Lennon lives with his family in Portland and his rehoming fee is $150. Lennon is inside only.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
