Story
Milo is Sponsored by Keith Osborne Meet Milo – your future shadow, sidekick, and full-time best friend! 🐾💛Milo is a young, handsome little gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This sweet boy is incredibly affectionate and loves being around his people. If you’ve ever dreamed of having a loyal companion who follows you from room to room, supervises your daily tasks, and insists on being part of everything you do — Milo is your guy! He’s quite the conversationalist, too. Milo isn’t shy about sharing his thoughts and will happily chat with you about his day, your day, or the fact that his food bowl is clearly not full enough. His adorable little voice is just one of the many ways he keeps you smiling.Milo has a playful, spirited side and enjoys interactive playtime — chasing toys, pouncing, and showing off his zoomies. But when playtime winds down, he’s all about cuddles. Fair warning: he is proudly a stage five clinger. He thrives on attention and can get a little dramatic if he feels ignored. Break out a Churu and you’ll instantly become his favorite human (again).Milo is looking for a forever family who won’t mind a little extra devotion and who will adore having a constant companion. He would do best in a home where he gets plenty of love, interaction, and reassurance that he’s the center of your world — as it should be.If you’re ready for a sweet, talkative, affectionate boy who will love you with his whole heart (and expect the same in return), Milo is ready to meet you! 🏡💕If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Pepper is sponsored by the Keay FamilyMeet Pepper 🖤Pepper is a stunning adult long-haired beauty with a quiet, sensitive soul. With her soft, flowing coat and gentle eyes, she’s as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside.Pepper is quite shy and reserved, and new environments can feel overwhelming for her. She’ll need a calm home and a gentle, patient hand to help her come out of her shell at her own pace. But for the person willing to give her that time and understanding, the reward is truly special.Once Pepper knows she’s safe, her big heart shines. She forms a deep, devoted bond with her person and finds comfort in quiet companionship. There’s something incredibly meaningful about earning the trust of a shy cat—and Pepper’s loyalty and soft affection make every moment worth it.If you have a peaceful home and a kind heart, Pepper may be the perfect companion to grow with you and share a beautiful, lasting bond. 🐾If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Story
Hi everyone — I’m looking for someone who may be able to take in a 5-year-old domestic short-haired cat, or who knows someone who can. My cat Ozzy recently had a urinary obstruction (Feline Idiopathic Cystitis) and, while he’s currently stable, he’ll need long-term management in a calm, low-stress home. Due to his ongoing medical needs and upcoming life changes, I’m unfortunately not able to provide the environment that would be best for him. Shelters and rescues have been contacted, but many are currently at capacity. About Ozzy: • Neutered male • Shy but friendly and cuddly • Loves interactive toys (especially laser pointers), wet food, and cozy time • Best suited for a consistent, low-stress home (outdoor access is a plus) If you’re interested or know someone who might be a good fit, please message me. Thank you for reading and sharing. ♡

Story
Luna is sponsored by Sue RichardsonMeet Luna,  the undisputed ruler of the free-roaming cat room.At around 7 years old and a delightfully plush 13 pounds, Luna is a domestic short-haired queen who has perfected the art of presence. From her favorite high perch, she surveys her kingdom with calm confidence, keeping an eye on shelter activity below. She’s been with us for over six months now, patiently waiting for the right human to recognize that true royalty is worth the wait.Luna doesn’t demand constant attention. Instead, she prefers companionship on her terms. When she’s in the mood for affection, she’ll let you know—sauntering over for pets, striking up a chat, or inviting you into a playful moment. And when she’s had enough? A gentle love bite serves as her polite but firm way of saying, “Audience dismissed.” It’s all part of her charm.Independent, sassy, and full of personality, Luna is the kind of cat who bonds deeply with someone who respects her boundaries and appreciates her confidence. She’s not looking to be the center of attention every minute—just to share space, warmth, and mutual understanding with her person.Luna is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and settle into a forever home where she can reign in comfort, love, and just a little bit of sass. If you’re looking for a cat with character, conversation skills, and queenly flair, Luna may be the perfect match you didn’t know you were waiting for. 🐾✨If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Grayson is Sponsored by Benita FicarraMeet Grayson, a handsome adult gentleman with a quiet soul and a heart full of love to give.Grayson can be a little shy when meeting new people, but don’t let that fool you — beneath his reserved exterior is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely adores cuddle time. Once he feels safe and settled, he’ll happily lean in for pets, cozy up beside you on the couch, and show you just how loving he truly is.Grayson would do best in a calm, adult home or one with older, respectful children. Young children and dogs make him nervous, so he’s hoping to find a peaceful environment where he can relax and be himself. The good news? He gets along well with most other cats and could thrive with a friendly feline companion. If you’re patient, kind, and looking for a loyal companion who will reward your love with quiet devotion and snuggles, Grayson may be your perfect match. Give this gentle boy a chance, and he’ll fill your home with warmth and soft purrs. Story
Monkey is Sponsored by the Keay FamilyMeet Monkey – your new little shadow with a heart of gold. 🐾Monkey is a sweet, affectionate boy who truly just wants to be close to his person. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, working at your desk, or getting ready for bed, Monkey will happily keep you company. He thrives on connection and will reward your love with gentle companionship and unwavering loyalty.Monkey is FIV positive (FIV+), which simply means he will need a little extra care and a thoughtful home environment. He would do best as the only cat in the home, or with other FIV+ feline friends. With proper care and management, FIV+ cats can live normal and happy lives.Good nutrition is important for all cats — and especially for FIV+ cats — to help support a strong immune system. Limiting exposure to potential pathogens is also key. NAS promotes indoor living for all adoptable cats, and it is especially important that Monkey remains an indoor only cat, where his immune system will be less exposed to illness.Routine veterinary care is essential. Monkey will need veterinary checkups twice a year, monthly parasite prevention (fleas/ticks/worms) and regular blood and urine testing to monitor his immune system. Any signs of infection should be treated promptly to keep him feeling his best.Monkey doesn’t ask for much — just a safe, loving indoor home and a person to call his own. In return, you’ll get a devoted companion who will fill your days with quiet affection and sweet moments.Could you be the one Monkey has been waiting for? 💛If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter Hours). If you’d like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets’ profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to frontdesk@newberganimals.com.Due to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment.
