Story
Meet Lacey! This 9-month-old spayed female Manx with a beautiful tortoiseshell coat is a gentle and loving kitty. She’s a bit shy at first, but with patience and a calm environment, her affectionate side comes through. She loves making biscuits when she’s comfortable and truly enjoys having her fur gently combed—grooming time is one of her favorite ways to bond. She would do best in a quiet, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace. If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive companion who will reward your patience with trust and affection, this beautiful girl may be the perfect match. 💕

Story
LuLu is a lovely 7-month old torbie kitten. She came into the shelter with her siblings after likely being born to a feral mom, and they were all battling illness when rescued. LuLu’s healthy now, but her tough start has made her wary of people. Her foster family has worked patiently with her, and while she isn’t comfortable with human affection yet, she absolutely enjoys the company of other cats—both playful kittens and calm adults.  LuLu would do well in a home that already has a confident, friendly cat who could be her companion. She could also thrive in a safe indoor-workspace or warehouse-type setting where she has room to be independent, while still having a reliable food source and shelter. Because she has spent her entire life in foster care, she’s not really suited to a traditional outdoor barn-cat lifestyle. Lulu is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative. Contact info@rockwallpets.com if you’d like to learn more about LuLu and whether she might be the right fit for your home or facility.   December 8, 2025, 2:49 pm

Story
Meet Puck &#194&#150 A Handsome Boy Looking for a Quiet, Patient Home Hello, my name is Puck! I am an 8-year-old male Domestic Short Hair who weighs approximately 13 lbs. My previous owners could no longer care for me, so I was surrendered to Rockwall Adoptions in hopes of finding my forever home. I'm a sweet boy, but I'm also a bit reserved and need time to adjust to new environments and people. I'll do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that I may need a little patience as I settle in. Due to my temperament, I am not recommended for homes with children under the age of 13 and I will need to be the only pet in the home. My adoption fee is $50. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccine, and Fiv/Felv negative. If you're interested in making me part of your family, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ . Once your application is received, RAC staff will schedule meet and greets with approved adopters.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. November 5, 2025, 3:27 pm

Story
Meet Harrison &#194&#150 Working Barn Cat Harrison is an approximately 2-year-old male domestic shorthair who is available for adoption as a barn cat. Harrison is independent, feisty, and not interested in human companionship, making him best suited for life as a working cat rather than a traditional indoor pet. He would thrive in a barn, shop, warehouse, or property setting where he can provide natural pest control while maintaining his space and independence. Harrison is neutered, current on his rabies vaccination, and ear tipped, which identifies him as part of a managed outdoor cat program. Harrison's adoption fee is $30. If you have a safe outdoor structure and are looking for a dedicated working cat, Harrison may be a great fit. For more information or to inquire about placement, please contact Rockwall Adoptions at 972-771-7750 ext. 2. Story
Meet Zeus Zeus is a 9-year-old Domestic Shorthair cat weighing approximately 6 pounds who came to the Rockwall Adoption Center after being abandoned overnight on January 5, 2026. Because of the circumstances surrounding his arrival, we have very little background information on his past. What we do know is that Zeus has done well around other cats and dogs. Zeus is a senior boy who needs a little extra care right now. He is currently underweight, and our staff is closely monitoring his condition to ensure he is steadily gaining and maintaining a healthy weight. While his journey will require patience and continued support, our goal is to see Zeus regain his strength and enjoy the comfort and stability he deserves. Despite everything he has been through, Zeus remains a gentle, sweet cat who simply needs a safe, loving home where he can continue to heal and thrive. A calm environment and a family willing to support a senior cat's needs will give Zeus the best chance at living out his golden years feeling secure and loved. Zeus is available for adoption with a $30 adoption fee. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and FVRCP booster, and has tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you are interested in giving Zeus the second chance he deserves, please submit an online adoption application: Apply here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Zeus has already endured far too much&#194&#151now he's hoping for the quiet comfort of a home to call his own.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
