Hi there, I’m Whiskers! 🐾 I’m a big softie with an even bigger purr motor, and I love being the center of attention. Cuddles? Yes please! I'll snuggle right up next to you—and if you're lucky, I might even give you one of my famous Whiskers Hugs™. I’m also quite the shadow—wherever you go, I’ll be close behind, just making sure you’re not lonely. 💕 When it comes to toys, I don’t discriminate. Whether it’s a feather wand, crinkly ball, or even a kitten toy, I’m ready to pounce and play! Sometimes I get a little too excited and might play with your hand (oops 😅), but I’m learning and respond well when you let me know it’s too much. I’ve got a lot to say and I’m not shy about it! I’ll chirp, meow, and chat with you throughout the day. Got a story to tell? I’m all ears (and maybe a few meows in response). I’m great with dogs and small kittens—they don’t stress me out. Other adult cats? I need super slow introductions, please. I like my space at first, but I can warm up in time with patience and care. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and talkative buddy to keep you company, I might just be your guy. Let’s meet soon—I’ve got so many cuddles to give! 🐱💬💖

My name is Marnie and I am beautiful, smart, and relaxed!  I was found behind a store where several people pet me, fed me and gave me water. This was good, but what I really wanted was for someone to take me home. Finally, someone got the right idea and took me home to be their forever kitty. They really loved me, but I did not like their dog and I’m not sure I liked their cat. Because of this, I could not stay at their home. Fortunately, they found Texas CARES, who took me in to find me a forever home that will stick! Oh, I don’t like my foster mom’s kitties either! They are nosey brutes! If I got a new cat sibling that left me alone, I might be fine. I am not a crazy kitty girl like so many other kitties, but I am extremely loving, enjoy laying on your lap while I sleep, sitting near you touching while we just hang, and giving you head bonks to inspire you to keep petting me. I will play with toys for a bit, but mostly if you play with me. Maybe I’ll get more into the toy thing, but for now, you will be my favorite thing! I just love being with my foster mom and getting hugs. I use the litter box perfectly, love wet food, treats, and just being around. If you want a younger kitty that will be happy to be alone, is not crazy wild, and who will be your companion, please come visit me!March 7, 2026, 11:01 am
