Story
Goose is the definition of an orange cat with his quirky personality. Despite his goofiness, he is extremely intelligent and mischievous, which has led him to learn to open doors and steal bread bags. He loves staring out windows, running and leaping into his tunnel so that it slides across the floor with him in it, chewing up dog toys until they no longer squeak, and he absolutely loves nothing more than food. He can get overstimulated easily when being pet. He doesn't mind his head being scratched or the occasional back scratches, but he gets irritated easily and will open his mouth to warn you that he's done and is preparing to bite. If he feels trapped or crowded, he will bite as well, which means you should never reach over him or make him feel trapped by your body or arms. He is a big hunter, which means if anything moves, he's tracking it and probably going to pounce. He needs an experience cat owner with a lot of patience and grace.

Story
We've had Millie for about a year and a half. We adopted her from the East Lake Cat Care Center in Dallas several weeks after she was born. One of our kids has recently been diagnosed with a cat allergy. We've tried everything, but their symptoms haven't improved enough for us to keep her safely in the home. This is not a decision we've made lightly, and we want to make sure Millie goes a loving home. A bit about her: spayed, up-to-date on all shots/vaccinations, microchipped, litter-trained, good with kids/other pets (after an acclimation period), no known medical conditions, currently taking regular preventative heartworm medication. She can be a little slow to warm up to new environments, but once she's had time to adjust, she's very loving and affectionate. She's an expert fly catcher and isn't afraid to speak her mind. And she most certainly will let you know when it's feeding time.

Story
I got Bento from a coworker when he was a kitten, and he’s been an amazing companion ever since. He’s a very friendly, curious cat who loves exploring his surroundings and being involved in whatever you’re doing. He has a sweet personality and enjoys spending time with people. Losing my job has put me in a position I never imagined I’d be in. I never in a million years thought I would have to rehome Bento, and making this decision has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. If I had any other option, I would keep him without hesitation. My biggest priority is finding him a loving, stable home where he’ll be treated as part of the family and receive all the love, attention, and care he deserves. Bento hasn’t had the opportunity to be around young children yet, so I’m not sure how he’ll do with them. However, with his friendly and affectionate personality, I believe he’ll thrive with someone who will be patient and give him the chance to settle.

Story
This pet came from a small Irving animal shelter! Nora is 2 years old and is a large cat with bursts of energy! She spends most of her time lazing around and looking out the window, she is an independent cat that keeps to herself. She needs to be rehoused as some of the residents of the home she currently resides in is unfortunately allergic to cats.

Needs a loving home ASAPOreo is a beautiful 1-year-old tuxedo girl with golden eyes, white “socks,” and the cutest beauty mark above her nose. She is spayed, vaccinated, healthy, and fully litter trained. She is incredibly sweet, gentle and loves being near her people. She’ll follow you around, greet you when you come home, curl up nearby, purr, and give the sweetest little kitten meows. She's also a playful cutie that loves wand toys, sunny windows and her cat tree. A good bedtime play session helps her sleep through the night.Oreo is wonderful with respectful children and will do best in a calm, predictable home. She has been with us for several weeks and is an absolute joy. Oreo is being rehomed through absolutely no fault of her own because my son has severe cat allergies. She deserves a loving forever home where she will be safe, happy, and adored. ❤️We have a cat tree, kitty house, toys, 2 litter boxes, food, medical records, and other supplies for her new family.
