Story
Meet Kido – A Stunning Bengal with a Big Heart (and Big Personality!) Kido is a beautiful, intelligent, and very active Bengal boy looking for a special forever home. After losing his previous owner, Kido was surrendered to a shelter which was a heartbreaking and scary experience for him. Thankfully, H4P stepped in to rescue him, and now he’s safe and has learned to trust again in his foster home. Kido is a classic Bengal: vocal, curious, playful, and full of energy. He’s not a lap cat, and he doesn’t enjoy being picked up or cuddled but he does love spending time nearby, playing with toys, and showing off his athletic moves. He’s happy to be admired from a respectful distance. Think of him as a work of art: beautiful, rare, and best appreciated on his terms! Here’s what Kido needs in his forever home: A Younger Cat Friend Kido must have a playful kitten or younger cat companion. He relies on other cats to feel confident and happy, and he loves having a buddy to run, wrestle, and snuggle with. No Dogs or Small Children Loud noises and unpredictable energy stress Kido out. He needs a calm, quiet home without dogs or young kids. Special Diet Kido is on a special food regimen to keep him feeling his best. His health is well-managed; he just needs someone who’s happy to keep up with his dietary needs. A Patient, Understanding Human Kido is shy and needs someone who will give him time and space to settle in. He may never be a cuddler, but he bonds deeply in his own way especially when other cats are around to help him feel secure. Kido has a unique spirit, and for the right person, he’ll bring endless love and joy as a truly special companion If you have a cat who needs a buddy, a quiet home, and a big heart ready to accept a Bengal boy just as he is, Kido could be your perfect match. Apply to adopt Kido today and help him write the next chapter of his journey, one filled with love, play, and feline friendship.

Story
Meet Spot – A Dash of Gold and a Whole Lot of Love! Spot is a one-of-a-kind kitten with a sleek black coat kissed by golden patches and speckles—like little stars scattered across the night sky. At 6 months old, she's bursting with playful energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of sass. Though a little shy at first, Spot has a sweet and affectionate side that shines through once she feels safe. She adores side scratches, and once you earn her trust, she’ll reward you with the best gift of all: nonstop biscuit-making with her happy little paws. Its her way of saying, “I’m comfy, I like you, and I’m home.” Spot loves chasing wand toys, batting around stuffed mice, and exploring every corner of the room. She’s full of kitten mischief in the best way and would thrive in a home that gives her space to play and time to warm up. She gets along well with other cats and could really blossom in a home with a friendly feline companion. Spot hasn’t met children yet, but would likely do well in a calm, patient household where she can continue to build her confidence. Spot is ready for her forever home—one with cozy spots, caring people, and plenty of time to grow into the loving, lively cat she’s meant to be. Adopt Spot and add a little sparkle to your life—one biscuit at a time.

Story
Meet Brownie. This gorgeous girl is a three-year-old, medium-haired tortoiseshell with the softest fur and the most soulful eyes. She’s a big, fluffy beauty who turns heads wherever she goes — but it’s her gentle heart that truly makes her special. She was adopted a couple of years ago but recently returned when she and the other cat in the home (her littermate) just couldn’t find harmony. Sometimes even family doesn’t mean “best fit,” and that’s okay — it simply helped us learn what she truly needs to thrive. She’s a shy, quiet soul who blossoms with patience. Once she feels safe, she shows her affection on her terms — sweet, calm companionship, soft purrs, and a steady presence by your side. She’s not demanding or loud, just beautifully content sharing space with someone who understands that trust takes time. This lovely girl would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can be the center of attention without competition. A calm household with older children would suit her well, as she appreciates gentle interactions and predictable routines. She has excellent litter box manners, is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter — one filled with kindness, understanding, and love. If you’re looking for a peaceful, devoted companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection and unwavering loyalty, this pretty tortie may be the one your heart has been waiting for.

Story
Meet Robin Alias: The Boy Wonder of Snacks & Snuggles Robin is an orange cuddle machine disguised as a superhero. His greatest powers include bottomless hunger, lap detection, and expert-level purring. If you sit down, congratulations—you now have a Robin. He is sweet, gentle, and permanently convinced that your lap is his official headquarters. Robin takes snack time very seriously and believes every meal should be followed by cuddles (and possibly another meal). He may be the sidekick, but when it comes to affection, Robin absolutely steals the spotlight Email info@habitat4paws.org for more on adopting Diamond. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
