Story
Meet Puck &#194&#150 A Handsome Boy Looking for a Quiet, Patient Home Hello, my name is Puck! I am an 8-year-old male Domestic Short Hair who weighs approximately 13 lbs. My previous owners could no longer care for me, so I was surrendered to Rockwall Adoptions in hopes of finding my forever home. I'm a sweet boy, but I'm also a bit reserved and need time to adjust to new environments and people. I'll do best in a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that I may need a little patience as I settle in. Due to my temperament, I am not recommended for homes with children under the age of 13 and I will need to be the only pet in the home. My adoption fee is $50. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccine, and Fiv/Felv negative. If you're interested in making me part of your family, please submit an adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ . Once your application is received, RAC staff will schedule meet and greets with approved adopters.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. November 5, 2025, 3:27 pm

Story
Meet Samuel Samuel is an approximately 8-week-old male domestic shorthair kitten who came to Rockwall Adoption Center after his previous family was no longer able to care for him. Thankfully, a wonderful foster stepped in, and Samuel is currently thriving in a foster home while he waits for his forever family. Samuel is a friendly, playful, and affectionate kitten who enjoys attention and is ready to bring lots of love into his future home. Samuel's adoption fee is $75 and includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, first FVRCP vaccination, and first deworming. Samuel is required to return to Rockwall Adoption Center on January 7, 2026 for his neuter and rabies vaccination. This appointment is non-negotiable, and adopters must plan accordingly. Because Samuel is currently in a foster home, an approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet-and-greet or adoption. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved applicants in the order applications are received. If you are interested in making Samuel a part of your family, please submit an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ Samuel is ready to grow up in a loving home and is hoping to meet his forever family soon.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Hello there! My name is Stitch, and I'm a handsome 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair weighing about 10 lbs. I was brought to RAC after being found wounded on 9/10/25 and bring in to see if I could be helped. No owner came forward to claim me so I am now available for adoption! I'm a friendly, affectionate boy who's looking for a calm, loving home to call my own. I'm litter box trained and currently eat dry adult cat food. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on my yearly vaccines, and my adoption fee is just $30. I tested FeLV negative, but I did test FIV positive. Don't let that scare you&#194&#151FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is a cat-specific autoimmune condition, and with proper care and an indoor lifestyle, cats like me can live long, healthy, happy lives. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your love tenfold, I'd love to meet you! If you are interested in love that lasts a lifetime, visit https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ to fill out an application and RAC staff will be in touch with next steps.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Prince Charming &#194&#150 A Gentle Cat Looking for a Special Home Prince Charming is a sweet, shy 2-year-old Domestic Shorthair weighing about 7lbs who is searching for a calm, patient forever home. He came to the Rockwall Adoption Center after being found by a kind community member who could no longer care for him. While he can be timid at first, Prince Charming blossoms with gentle handling and time, revealing a truly affectionate personality. Prince Charming has tested FELV positive and FIV negative. FELV (Feline Leukemia Virus) only affects cats and is not contagious to people or dogs. Because it spreads through close cat-to-cat contact, Prince Charming should live in an indoor-only home as the only cat or with other FELV-positive cats. With regular veterinary care, good nutrition, and a low-stress environment, many FELV-positive cats live happy, comfortable lives. He would do best in a quiet household where he can feel safe and continue building confidence at his own pace. His $30 adoption fee includes neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, FVRCP booster, and FIV/FELV testing. If you're looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs patience and understanding, Prince Charming may be the perfect match.
