Story
Puck is an 8-year-old, 10-lb Domestic Short Hair with movie-star looks and a very clear sense of personal space. This handsome gentleman is affectionate, but strictly on his terms. He enjoys attention, head rubs, and companionship—just don't scoop him up and expect him to be thrilled about it. Puck prefers all four paws on solid ground and he will let you know when he's ready for love. He's a bit reserved at first and needs time to feel comfortable, but once he settles in, he's a loyal, charming companion who appreciates calm energy and respectful humans. Because of his need for a quiet, predictable environment, Puck would do best in an adult-only or teen (13+) home and must be the only pet. Puck is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and FIV/FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $30. If you're the kind of person who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and mutual respect, Puck may be your perfect match. Story
Meet Rhyme. Rhyme is a 10 year old Calico cat weighing approximately 13 pounds who is looking for a calm and understanding home to spend her golden years in. She was surrendered after beginning to struggle living with one of the dogs in her previous home. Prior to this, she had reportedly lived successfully with the dogs in the home for many years. Recently, one of the dogs was diagnosed with cancer, and it is possible that changes in the dog's health and condition contributed to stress and behavioral changes within the household. Outside of that situation, Rhyme has been described as a very sweet and affectionate companion with both her people and the other dogs in the home. However, due to the recent behavioral concerns and without certainty regarding the cause, we believe Rhyme would do best in a calm home without dogs. She has never lived with another cat, so we are unsure how she would adjust to a feline companion. Rhyme is litter box trained and enjoys roaming freely throughout the home. She would thrive in a quiet environment where she can feel safe, secure, and relaxed while settling into her new surroundings. Rhyme is spayed, current on her basic boosters and rabies vaccine, and her adoption fee is $30. She is scheduled to receive her FIV and FeLV test along with her microchip on Wednesday 05/27/26. These services are included in her adoption fee. If you are interested in giving Rhyme a loving home, please complete an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Paul. Paul was originally expected to be a barn cat, but he quickly decided that outdoor life was not for him. Instead of chasing mice and living outside, Paul would much rather be indoors curled up in a warm lap soaking up attention from his people. Paul is an incredibly affectionate domestic medium hair cat with a gentle and loving personality. If you sit down, there is a very good chance he will immediately climb into your lap to keep you company. He is the type of cat that truly enjoys being close to his people and turns any house into a home with his sweet nature. Paul is FIV positive and FeLV negative. FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, affects a cat's immune system, but many FIV positive cats live long, happy, and completely normal lives with proper care and regular veterinary visits. FIV is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds between cats and is not typically transmitted through casual contact such as sharing food bowls, grooming, or cuddling. Because of this, many FIV positive cats can safely live with other friendly, nonaggressive cats. At this time, Paul does not require any special medication or treatment. He simply deserves a loving indoor home where he can remain healthy, safe, and cared for like any other cat. Paul is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $50. If you are interested in giving Paul the loving home he deserves, please submit an adoption application at Rockwall Adoptions Adoption Application  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Blackberry! Blackberry is a 4-year-old female Domestic Medium Hair cat that weighs 8-9lbs. She is ready to begin her next chapter after not being reclaimed. She was found on 4/6/26 at the service center in Rockwall after being left in a crate in the bed of a truck over a weekend of torrential spring storms. Despite such a heartbreaking start, Blackberry survived-and now she's ready to truly thrive. Through it all, she has remained incredibly sweet, social, and trusting. Blackberry loves attention and being around people, and her gentle, easygoing personality makes her a wonderful companion. She is a resilient girl with so much love left to give and is more than ready for a safe, stable home where she will never be left behind again. Blackberry is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is healthy and ready to go home. Her adoption fee is $50. If you're looking for a cat with both a strong spirit and a loving heart, Blackberry may be the perfect match. Story
Hi there! My name is Annie. I am a 2-year-old domestic short hair cat weighing approximately 15 pounds, and I am looking for my forever home. I was surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center when my previous family was no longer able to care for me. I'm a friendly, easygoing girl who enjoys spending time with my people and taking cozy naps in sunny spots around the house. I do prefer to be the only cat in the home, as I like having my own space and being the center of attention. I would thrive in a home where I can truly be the “queen of the castle” and soak up all the love. Dogs are unknown territory for me and, quite honestly, likely not a kingdom I'm interested in conquering. My adoption fee is $50. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, and have tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you think we could be the perfect match, please submit an application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ I can't wait to find a home where I can relax, be loved, and rule the house in the best way possible.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com.
