Story
Puck is an 8-year-old, 10-lb Domestic Short Hair with movie-star looks and a very clear sense of personal space. This handsome gentleman is affectionate, but strictly on his terms. He enjoys attention, head rubs, and companionship—just don't scoop him up and expect him to be thrilled about it. Puck prefers all four paws on solid ground and he will let you know when he's ready for love. He's a bit reserved at first and needs time to feel comfortable, but once he settles in, he's a loyal, charming companion who appreciates calm energy and respectful humans. Because of his need for a quiet, predictable environment, Puck would do best in an adult-only or teen (13+) home and must be the only pet. Puck is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and FIV/FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $30. If you're the kind of person who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and mutual respect, Puck may be your perfect match. Story
Meet Jade Jade is a 2-year-old female domestic short hair cat weighing approx. 11 pounds who is ready to find a home where she can truly thrive. Jade was surrendered by her family after they were unable to provide her with the living environment Jade needs to thrive, as there were other cats in the home and she was not comfortable sharing her space with other felines. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention and enjoys being around her people. Jade has a playful, energetic personality and even knows a few fun tricks-she has been trained to sit while waiting for her food and has been known to play fetch. She is both smart and engaging, making her a wonderful companion. She has been living in a home environment and is housebroken and accustomed to roaming freely in the home. While she is very loving with people, she does best as the only cat in the home where she can feel comfortable and relaxed. Her compatibility with dogs and children is unknown at this time. Jade's adoption fee is $50. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her FVRCP vaccination, and has tested negative for FIV/FELV. She is scheduled to receive her rabies vaccination on Wednesday, 04/15/26. If you are looking for a playful, affectionate cat who will bring both companionship and personality into your home, Jade may be the perfect match. Story
Hello, my name is Reese! I am an adult male domestic short hair cat weighing approximately 10 pounds. I was found by a kind citizen who could not care for me long term, so I was brought to Rockwall Adoption Center in hopes of finding my FURever home. I am a friendly, easygoing boy who enjoys attention and appears to be litter box trained. I am currently eating dry adult cat food and have adjusted well to my surroundings. I would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a laid-back, affectionate cat. My adoption fee is $50. I am neutered, microchipped, and current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. I tested negative for FeLV, but I am FIV positive. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) affects my immune system, but with proper care, cats like me can live long, happy, and healthy lives. It is most commonly spread through deep bite wounds. I can live safely with other cats in the home as long as they are friendly, non-aggressive cats. Because of my FIV status, I must be kept strictly indoors at all times to protect my health and keep me safe from illness or injury. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion to share your home with, I may be the perfect match. Come meet me today!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. Story
Meet Blackberry! Blackberry is a 4-year-old female Domestic Medium Hair cat that weighs 8-9lbs. She is ready to begin her next chapter after not being reclaimed. She was found on 4/6/26 at the service center in Rockwall after being left in a crate in the bed of a truck over a weekend of torrential spring storms. Despite such a heartbreaking start, Blackberry survived-and now she's ready to truly thrive. Through it all, she has remained incredibly sweet, social, and trusting. Blackberry loves attention and being around people, and her gentle, easygoing personality makes her a wonderful companion. She is a resilient girl with so much love left to give and is more than ready for a safe, stable home where she will never be left behind again. Blackberry is spayed, microchipped, current on her rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She is healthy and ready to go home. Her adoption fee is $50. If you're looking for a cat with both a strong spirit and a loving heart, Blackberry may be the perfect match. Story
Meet Annie ?? Hi there! My name is Annie. I am a 2-year-old domestic short hair cat weighing approximately 8 pounds, and I am looking for my forever home. I was surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center when my previous family was no longer able to care for me. I'm a friendly, easygoing girl who enjoys spending time with my people and taking cozy naps in sunny spots around the house. I do prefer to be the only cat in the home, as I like having my own space and being the center of attention. I would thrive in a home where I can truly be the “queen of the castle” and soak up all the love. Dogs are unknown territory for me and, quite honestly, likely not a kingdom I'm interested in conquering. My adoption fee is $50. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccinations, and have tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you think we could be the perfect match, please submit an application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ I can't wait to find a home where I can relax, be loved, and rule the house in the best way possible.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Hello! My name is Torrente. I'm an approximately 10-month-old male tabby Domestic Shorthair who was found on Ravenbank Drive with an injury to my back right leg. I was brought to the shelter in the hopes that I would be able to find a family to love. I'm happy to share that I am now available for adoption and ready to find a loving forever home! When I was found, I had an abscess on my back right leg. It has been treated and properly drained, and now I'm simply in the healing phase. I can be a little tender when using that leg, but as the infection continues to resolve, I should be back to full speed before you know it. Despite everything, I've remained a very sweet boy. I'm litter box trained and enjoy gentle attention. I'm just looking for a safe, loving home where I can finish healing and start my next chapter. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and I've tested negative for FIV/FELV. My adoption fee is $50. If you're ready to give a resilient, affectionate kitty a second chance, I'd love to meet you! Please complete an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ if you are interested in adopting me.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
