Story
Puck is an 8-year-old, 10-lb Domestic Short Hair with movie-star looks and a very clear sense of personal space. This handsome gentleman is affectionate, but strictly on his terms. He enjoys attention, head rubs, and companionship&#194&#151just don't scoop him up and expect him to be thrilled about it. Puck prefers all four paws on solid ground and he will let you know when he's ready for love. He's a bit reserved at first and needs time to feel comfortable, but once he settles in, he's a loyal, charming companion who appreciates calm energy and respectful humans. Because of his need for a quiet, predictable environment, Puck would do best in an adult-only or teen (13+) home and must be the only pet. Puck is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and FIV/FeLV negative. His adoption fee is $30. If you're the kind of person who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and mutual respect, Puck may be your perfect match. Story
Hi there! My name is Nolan, and I'm an approximately 4-month-old grey and white domestic shorthair kitten looking for my forever home. My brother Nicolas and I were surrendered to Rockwall Adoption Center when our previous family could no longer care for us, and now I'm ready to find a family to call my own. RAC's veterinarian suspects that we may have been exposed to calicivirus. Feline calicivirus (FCV) is a common and contagious virus in cats that typically causes mild upper respiratory symptoms similar to a cold. Some cats may also develop mouth ulcers or experience temporary discomfort, but most recover well and go on to live normal, healthy lives with routine veterinary care. Adopters should simply be aware that symptoms can occasionally recur and should keep up with routine veterinary care to help keep me feeling my best. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and dewormed, so I'm all set to head home with my new family. My adoption fee is $75. If you're interested in meeting or adopting me, please submit an application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ I can't wait to find my forever home and start my next adventure with you!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Hello, I have had Stella for almost 5 years. She is a lovely cat with a very sweet personality. She is an indoor cat and loves snuggles and kisses. Unfortunately due to moving it is not feasible to keep her. I would love for her to have a home where she is loved and kept safe. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is shy but warms up quickly.

Story
Hello! My name is Torrente. I'm an approximately 8-month-old male tabby Domestic Shorthair who was found on Ravenbank Drive with an injury to my back right leg. I was brought to the shelter in the hopes that I would be able to find a family to love. I'm happy to share that I am now available for adoption and ready to find a loving forever home! When I was found, I had an abscess on my back right leg. It has been treated and properly drained, and now I'm simply in the healing phase. I can be a little tender when using that leg, but as the infection continues to resolve, I should be back to full speed before you know it. Despite everything, I've remained a very sweet boy. I'm litter box trained and enjoy gentle attention. I'm just looking for a safe, loving home where I can finish healing and start my next chapter. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies and FVRCP vaccines, and I've tested negative for FIV/FELV. My adoption fee is $50. If you're ready to give a resilient, affectionate kitty a second chance, I'd love to meet you! Please complete an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ if you are interested in adopting me.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
