Story
Meet Melody! Melody is an adorable 3-month-old short-haired tabby and white kitten who is officially ready for her fresh start! She came to us from a hoarding situation where there were simply too many animals to receive the individual care and attention they deserved. At the time she was surrendered, Melody was also diagnosed with ringworm, but she has since completed treatment, fully recovered, and is now ready to find the loving family she has been waiting for. Melody has a sweet, gentle personality and all the playful curiosity you would expect from a kitten her age. She loves to explore, chase toys, play, and then curl up for a well-deserved nap when the fun is over. After everything she has been through, Melody is more than ready to trade shelter life for a home filled with love, comfort, and plenty of playtime. Kittens thrive with enrichment, positive socialization, patience, and lots of affection as they grow into happy, confident adult cats, and Melody is ready to begin that journey with her forever family. Melody's adoption fee is $75. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her first FVRCP booster and dewormer. An approved online adoption application is required before a meet and greet can be scheduled. If you are ready to give Melody the happy ending she deserves, submit your application today at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. September 10, 2026, 1:20 pm
