She and her two siblings were originally found outside by a family who took them in but quickly realized they were not prepared to take on the care of three kittens. She is now tolerant of being handled and is slowly becoming more comfortable with human interaction. She is still shy and a little scared, and she is not showing affection just yet, but every small step is helping her learn that people can be safe and kind. What Echo needs most is someone patient and gentle who understands that she simply needs time, consistency, and positive experiences to build trust and learn that she is finally safe.
