Story
Hello! I'm Meadow, it's nice to meet you! I am a sweet, spunky, and funny gal that loves meeting new people. I am super cute and everybody loved when I'm silly and show off my fluffy tummy. I need a very cat-savvy family as I can be particular about recieving love. I would not do well with kids in the home as I don't like being handled too much. I would be okay with another cat in the home as long as they respect my space. If you think you can handle me and all my purr-sonality, come to the shelter to meet me!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Hi, I am part of the orange kitty bushel of fruit! My name is Peach, and I am a very pretty 5 month old white/orange tabby girl. My brothers are CATaloupe & ApriCAT! We all were found as strays in Cedar Hill before Second Chance picked us up. I am really sweet and it doesn't take me long to start purring. I am the 2nd most outgoing with Cataloupe in the lead. I would do great in any home especially if you had another kitty for me to play with, come by to meet me!Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Story
Hey there! I'm Avocado. I am a 5 year old, 15 pound, brown tabby boy. I was adopted from Second Chance in 2020 and returned after 4 years because my owner had allergies. I am currently overweight and should be closer to about 10 pounds after a diet. I was originally found with a broken tail, which needed to be amputated, so don't be surprised if I look like a bobcat. I'm incredibly handsome, chatty and oh so snuggly. I LOVE being with my people and bird watching. I'm affectionate, playful and outgoing. My favorite thing in the whole world is butt scratches. I will make a wonderful addition to any family. Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. Story
Fletcher was found on our neighbors balcony. He is extremely friendly and vocal when hungry. Fletcher loves curling up in laps and getting full body rubs. He is a purr machine!! Most likely abandoned by another renter as he is friendly with humans. Fletch has tested negative on everything. The vet said his kidney enzyme is elevated, but care and access to healthy diet will help bring this down. When found Fletch had several wounds, which are healing nicely thanks to antibiotics (course finished). The worst of wounds are scratch directly above his left eye, burned paw pads, and would under his tail. All are healing and healthy pink flesh visible. Vet believes he crawled inside vehicle engine to stay warm and was still there when motor started. We have a 2 pet limit at our apartment, so we are caring and covering expenses while searching for his furrever home. He is not fond of our 2 dogs, so we think a home without dogs is best for him.
