Story

Squid is 2 years old, and unfortunately due to life altering circumstances I cannot care for him anymore. He was surrendered to an animal hospital when he was a kitten, he has suspected HCM and is on medication to treat his symptoms. He always takes his medicine eagerly and is very stable although he does require frequent veterinary monitoring. He is a sweet boy who can take some time to warm up to others especially other cats, but he is very energetic and loves to play.

Story

Luna is a rescue that is 6 years old. She is a female white and grey Tabby mixed with Siamese. She prefers a quiet space so a home with few pets and no kids is best for her. She has lived with other cats and a dog her whole life but she likes to stay to herself. She is litter boxed trained but does not like an automatic litter box. She prefers a traditional litter box. She has been spayed and has had her shots. Luna loves to play but also loves to sleep. She will spend most of her day/night in her "spot" sleeping. She loves to sit with you and lay on your lap when it suits her at times, too. We are rehoming her because unfortunately, we are unable to give her the care and attention that she deserves. I think she would be perfect for a couple or a single person looking for a companion.

My wife and I are urgently seeking a safe and loving placement for my mother's two cats due to the progression of her Alzheimer's disease, which has left her unable to properly care for them. The cats are a bonded brother-and-sister pair who are 6 years old and have been together their entire lives. We moved my mother into an assisted living facility in June, and we brought the cats with her because they are very important to her. Unfortunately, her Alzheimer's has progressed significantly since then. She is no longer able to consistently meet their daily needs, and the facility does not offer services that can provide care for resident pets. The cats are both spayed/neutered, have lived their entire lives indoors, and have no experience living outdoors. I cannot find records for the last couple of years, so they may not be current on their vaccinations. However, I am willing to cover the cost of updating any vaccinations or veterinary care needed to facilitate their placement.

Hazel is a rescue who is 6 years old and a Tabby. She is a very sweet and playful cat who has grown up around other cats, dogs, and kids. She does very well with all of them and is not easily upset. She has an affectionate personality but does not like to be held. She loves to come and lay in your lap while you are watching TV and sleep near you. We are rehoming her because unfortunately we are unable to give her the care and attention that she deserves. She would be great for a family with or without kids.

When we got Dora from the Sullivan County animal shelter 2 years ago. She was rescued from a hoarder home that had 20 cats in it. She is super loving, and does well with other cats. She has anxiety and often times she just keeps to herself but does socialize when she wants too. She scares easily as well and will run away from you if she does not know you are walking by her.
