Story
Meet Coco. Coco was rescued from St. Thomas while she was pregnant. She was a great mother to six wonderful puppies. She is now ready to find her forever home. Coco is truly an island dog and was considered feral when we rescued her. She is slowly coming around. Coco is very scared and is considered a flight risk. She can walk somewhat on a leash. A fenced yard will be required. It would also be great for her to have a home with another dog, so that she can learn what it’s like to be a normal dog. Coco is considered a project Dog and will need someone with patience and understanding of fearful dogs. Coco is also heartworm positive and will be going through treatment. This is covered by Furkids. If you’re interested, please apply to furkids.org.

Story
Benjamin is a ball of energy. He loves playing with his foster Mom’s 2 dogs competing with them to fetch squeaky toys. He is curious about the resident kitty giving her plenty of sniffs but doesn’t touch her. Benjamin is a happy dog that loves to give snuggles and kisses. When he finally crashes, he loves to curl up with the rest of the pack on your lap. He is doing well with leash walking and going potty outside and will need to continue working on these with his forever family. Benjamin would do best in a home with a fenced in yard as he tries to sneak out of the door when it’s open however this isn’t a requirement. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Story
Jaz is a sweet 2 year old boy that loves to cuddle in or underneath blankets and pets. He rode all the way home curled up in my lap or looking out the window. He is good with my dog and cat. Jaz loves his crate so far, and slept like a log. As more days pass, I'm confident he'll feel more and more at home. He doesnt bark much and walks well on his leash. He's got a little curly-q of a tail as well. We think he looks like a mini Santa's Little Helper. More pictures to come! Don't miss out on this sweet boy, and fill out an application to come meet him. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Story
Onyx likes to run and play. He is very territorial and protective to people he knows l. He acts more like a watch protection dog. It takes him a while to warm up to strangers. Onyx is very fluffy, soft, and cuddly but he will not stay still long enough for cuddle at times. He is 1 years old and 3 months. Someone gave Onyx to my mother-in-law that got him from the La VA Quita Flea Market (November 2024). She became allergic along with her having other health issues.
