Meet Maximus!!!! He is quite the combination of Chihuahua and Pomeranian. Two of the most opinionated breeds around. Maximus is about 7 years old and has a personality all his own. He is only for experienced Chihuahua or small breed owners. Maximus is just like many of your typical small breeds. Once he knows you, he loves you. He is extremely cute and food motivated which helps in winning him over. Maximus must go into an adult only home with very minimal access to children. He does not do well with commotion, loud noises or anyone rushing up to him. All the things children like to do. His ideal home is a retired couple or individual that can devote time and energy to his needs. Being a semi-senior he does not require extensive exercise or stimulation. A comfy couch, some walks and a lot of treats and he is a happy boy. Maximus has a clean bill of health and recently had a dental so he is ready for his next chapter. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. • Rescue Story : Meet Mallow👋 This sweetheart was found wandering alone on a street in South Korea in Feb 2024. Sadly, he ended up in a high-risk shelter and on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, the rescue team stepped in just in time, giving him a second chance at life. While having heartworm treatment in a clinic, Mallow moved into his foster home in July 2024. Now, he’s ready to find his forever family! • Personality: Calm, Sweet, Shy Mallow needs a little time and space to feel comfortable, but once he does, he’ll open up beautifully. It may take patience, but winning his heart will be one of the most rewarding experiences ever! He is such a loyal cuddle bug! • Affinity with -Cats: Not interested in cats on walks -Dogs: a huge dog-lover! Very friendly with other dogs regardless of size. He would adjust better in a home with another dog! -Adults/Kids: Good with adults. / Not a fan of kids - he would be the best fit in a home without children. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, using pee pads indoors and going potty outdoors both. • Walking Manner: Very good on a leash! Had a few teeth extracted this October due to root damage, but it doesn’t affect his ability to chew. Regular and thorough tooth brushing is essential. 🩷 Rescue Story Lina was rescued just before euthanasia from "Jeongeup Shelter" in South Korea. Thanks to timely intervention, she was given a second chance at life and moved into foster care, where her bright and affectionate personality has truly blossomed. 🌿 Temperament & Behavior Lina is friendly and social. On walks, she shows curiosity toward other dogs and cats, but when she meets a cat, she simply sniffs briefly and walks away calmly. She gets along well with other dogs and can live in a multi-dog household. She may show a bit of jealousy at times, as many girls do, but she has never shown aggression or biting behavior. She is extremely affectionate and loves attention. She is friendly with all people, though she is especially drawn to women and seems to have a soft spot for women in their 50s. 🚶 Walking & Daily Life Lina enjoys leisurely walks with plenty of time to sniff and explore. She is always walked using a double leash for safety. Her shedding level is moderate to slightly high, about 6 out of 10. She is not picky with food and is fed high-quality kibble. Her regular diet includes Acana Free-Run Duck or Blue Buffalo Salmon. Treats are given sparingly, about once a week. 🏡 Habits & Training Lina primarily does her potty outdoors. She goes on walks in the morning and evening, ranging from one hour to sometimes up to two hours. She does well with baths. While brushing hasn’t been necessary due to her coat type, she enjoys being touched and handled. She does not show separation anxiety. When her foster returns home, she simply greets them happily with tail wags and no destructive behavior. She barks only occasionally—once when she is in a great mood, or briefly in response to loud motorcycle delivery noises. She may experience mild motion sickness on longer car rides, such as trips to nearby camping areas, but she has never vomited. 💛 Likes & Personality Lina loves walking side by side with her foster mom and truly enjoys greeting and meeting her dog friends. Lilith was adopted from an at-home litter in SC back in 2021. She loves to run and play (doesn’t quite understand the concept of fetch); and treats! An excited cuddle buddy when given the opportunity. Very gentle with cats (lived with three of them) and not riled up by children’s antics. Though she initially grew up with a lot of outside space, she easily adapted to apartment living. She needs a kind and loving home that doesn’t mind her barking at the doorbell ringing.

Minerva (aka Mini or MinChin) was adopted from an at-home litter in early 2022 - and was the only girl in that litter. But even from a young age, she was a little feisty and willing to stand her own ground. Gets along with cats great (she might even think she is part cat since a cat helped raise her); as well as other dogs no matter their size. Generally quiet and shy in temperament, she can be playful - but would much rather cuddle and/ or nap. She will let you know if she has to use the bathroom with soft whining. Not much of a barker unless someone’s at the door. Is versatile and can do a house with a yard or an apartment. Not food motivated; can be picky about treats. Has a favorite toy that she can take with her. Sometimes barks more like a husky than not when she does bark - IYKYK. Overall, a great companion who will love you and be loyal.

Zeppelin is an adorable male butterscotch-and-white puppy whose Mom is 3/4 Chihuahua, 1/4 Pekingese, born on 11/27/2025. We have a photo of Dad to share, but no Idea of his breed mix. Mom and Dad did make some cute puppies, who have really loving personalities, and these will be the only ones as we paid to spay/neuter the parents. Zeppelin is a sweet boy who is being fostered with love, and a strong bond with humans. We expect him to be smallish to medium size when fully grown, and his big adoring eyes will stay the same. Zeppelin is started on vaccinations, and a rebate is available for neuter when he is old enough. Adoption fee $275. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application.
