Story
It’s officially Autumn, and you know what that means! It’s Fall Time! Meet the Fall litter, five adorable cutie pies who are all affectionately named for some of your favorite Fall flavors and spices. Cinnamon Roll, Pumpkin Pie, Ginger, Fig, and Hickory are 2-month-old Chihuahua mixes rescued from Augusta, Georgia. They weigh between 4 and 5 pounds, just the right size to fit into a Halloween candy bag and go trick-or-treating with you! It’s time to pick out your matching costumes and come rescue one of these sweet puppies—they will be the sweetest treat in the pumpkin bucket!
The cutest little Fig on the tree? That’s this guy! While all of Fig’s siblings have tan fur, this sweet boy is a beautiful tri-color of black, tan, and white. He has the most adorable little eyebrows over his bright eyes, and his floppy ears are simply the sweetest. Much like his siblings, though, Fig has a huge capacity for love! This boy adores snuggling into your arms, giving you the sweetest puppy kisses, and letting you shower him with affection. He also loves to cuddle up with this littermates and other furry friends. He is a lover with the biggest heart, and he cannot wait to find a family who will cherish him and give him the life he deserves.
Fig would do great in a home with other dogs, cats, and kids. He will blend seamlessly into any family dynamics and is dreaming of his forever home. This Fig hopes you’re ready to “jam” with him!
Fig is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped.
Fig has not yet been neutered. On a predetermined date within 6 months, the dog will be neutered at the expense of HFGDR. An additional check in the amount of $500 will be collected at the time of adoption and $400 will be returned to the adopter once the dog has been altered.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
