Story
Meet the tiny little pixie, sweet Miss Mixy. Mixy is a precious 1.5-year-old Chihuahua/Miniature Pinsher mix who was rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia. Mixy has a lovely tri-color coat, big, brown eyes, and the cutest floppy ears. This small 10 pound girl is ready to see the great big world with you.
Mixy’s favorite pastimes include cuddling, snuggling in your arms, giving out kisses, and genuinely showing you as much affection as she can. Mixy adores following you around and sticking close. She’d really prefer if you stop whatever you’re doing to pick her up and cuddle her, especially in a warm blanket. She always gives attention and love to her humans and hopes you’re ready for all the Mixy snuggles you can handle.
Mixy would do best in a home with dogs her size who are more about the 'go with the flow' life style, rather than playing all day; she does great with cats and kiddos. She’d be a great companion for a single person, couple, or a family, eager to spend all her time with humans who are ready to show her the love of a true forever home.
Mixy is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

HFG Dog Rescue is a 100 percent foster-based rescue located in Berkeley Heights, NJ with a sister location, The Almost Home Wellness Center, in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
