Comet was a rescue dog who is now about six years old. He’s affectionate, energetic and playful, but also a territorial and doesn’t like to be left alone. As our kids have gotten older and schedules have gotten busier we can’t give him the attention he needs. He would need a home with activity and attention.

Meet Sophia!! She’s the sweetest little chihuaha senior you’ll ever meet. She’s got wire hair, a snaggpe tooth and the biggest ears ever. Sophia is wonderful with dogs, cats and kids. She loves a good car ride or walk and she’s a treat connoisseur. Sophia will dance for a treat and she also loves to dance when she meets new people. She’s not a barker and she’s overly friendly so she won’t work out as a guard dog lol. Sophia is a senior but she’s got some pep in her step too! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. She absolutely adores young children and needs to be with them. I fear she is losing her spark with me, she knows no stranger. Everyone is one of her people. She listens very well. A bit of a picky eater but that is the only quirk she has. She is a cuddle and must sleep in the bed with someone. She needs to be with children that is where her heart is!
